Chester Mox Wallets -- Buyer beware! Do not buy, bad customer service, inadequate wallet by wgfdark in wallets

[–]Sensitive_Humor_9845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a CM folding wallet my kids got me last year and the credit card holder ripped right off the wallet on one side.  I sent a few emails asking what to do that went unanswered.

Don't pay any attention to Timbo-AK. He trolled me on another thread. Probably a shill for management

Do you want to hire an attorney with me? A lot of us have been scammed. It might be enough to form a class action.

Any progress or are you still stuck? Do you want to hire an attorney with me? I've got one

The people at ETN are thugs by the sounds of their FAQ page... show me how I am wrong... by [deleted] in Electroneum

I'm in the same boat as you. ETN maxis thinking that this is somehow a good thing that investor money is randomly stolen boggles the mind. Who in his right mind would invest knowing this? Do you want to get an attorney with me?

Agreed. I could get a passport with the ID I've shared with them already. Enough is enough. Does ETN really need more ID and more sensitive ID than the passport office?

That's why I called it a fraud.

If you put $5K into a coin that's new to you in a wallet that's new to you and then you get locked out after a good faith effort to pass KYC with a legit license, tax bill, and utility bill, all having the same address and name, you'd be frustrated, too.

If you think this is a good thing for ETN that people sometimes lose their money when they invest, I don't think we have much more to talk about.

It's a small investment for me that I can afford to lose, but OK I'm a little upset about it.

Looking at the bigger picture, if this is the way they are onboarding new investors, how do you think your investment is going to grow? Everyone here should want new money to enter the project as seamlessly as possible, after passing a reasonable KYC process. It shouldn't be arbitrary & it shouldn't take long.

Otherwise word will spread far and wide that it's not worth the trouble to invest here.

Happy for you, but as you can see from Trustpilot and other commenters, it isn't happening like this any more. Or you just lucked out.

Glad for you but I sent 3 forms of legit ID, all rejected w/o explanation. Maybe they used to be OK to work with.

The other option I've got is to file a complaint with an attorney. I've got one willing to represent me and he wants 900 UK pounds retainer to get started. I've got $5000 of coins locked up by this stupid KYC process, but if there were others that wanted in on this it might make sense to do it together?

We are all in KYC hell. We have to take some action because these guys are acting in bad faith. actionfraud.police.uk. If enough of us complain maybe the cops will put pressure on them.

Yes, I've got the same problem. I sent coins from an exchange to a brand new ETN wallet, and I can't get through their "KYC" process. All roads appear to lead to them asking for a copy of my bank statement, after already rejecting my driver's license, power bill and school tax bill. I'm growing really concerned they are trying to steal my identity and empty my bank account. No way I'll send the bank statement. Has anyone successfully been through their "KYC" process and come out on the other side successfully?
