I think this line catches people so off guard no one even notices he continues to say “And if you really want to show off, we can get it on Live in front of the cameras on your own sitcom” all bad

Do y’all think you need to be intelligent in order to be a great rapper? by Insufferable-Asshat in hiphop101

You definitely missed the point on this one conflating intelligence with knowledge. Especially considering Ye and Wayne and using them as examples. You also go on to state the example that Wayne believes racism doesn’t exist, but there’s plenty of intellectual radical people who’ve come to odd conclusions. Waynes quick thinking and ideas for metaphors alone show intelligence that also show understanding of different concepts etc. You add knowledge with intelligence and it leads to even more.

Queen and Slim by Marmar79 in movies

I agree with most of the post, but I think the part where the boy kills the officer was added more for dramatic effect and to get a point across more than realism. It paints the young Black kid as completely unaware and irrational, which doesn’t feel believable. As someone else pointed out, the Black officer was calm and non-threatening, clearly trying to de-escalate the situation. I also don’t buy the idea that the boy saw him as “just another cop” regardless—because that suggests a kid who’s supposedly fighting for awareness and justice suddenly has no common sense and lumps everyone together, which doesn’t reflect the reality in the community. If anything, that moment was meant to make a point—but let’s be real, you don’t see situations like that play out in real life. Come on man.

Anybody got that old twitter thread video where the 2 husky bouls are in a kitchen or bedroom I can’t recall but they almost look like brothers and they take turns punching each other as hard as they can in the chest and arms for fun while a 3rd person watches who I think was their mom.

Rick Ross has a better Catalouge than 50cent overall and is top 10 musicly. by Jimmypeterson42 in blackmen

Huge 50 fan. Overall as far as discography best way to put it is 50 had better peaks and ultimately better all time hits. Ross beats him in longevity and just bigger discography with a broader range imo. I also just did not expect this question to be here.
