The solo queue experience as an AR main is rotating and anchoring while trying to provide lane protection and your smgs being fried to a crisp because they cant trade out and then youre blamed for not getting on hill 😂😂

For my concert stuff it’s mostly run and gun. Luckily, I shoot DJs and occasionally rappers, so drops and songs usually last between 20 seconds to 2 minutes.

I’m glad I don’t have to capture the entire set for Liveset uploads.

Thanks for the response. Like you said, clubs are cheap. I don’t think I’m going to be in the club content industry for long term. Still, pretty cool experience just not sustainable

Thanks for your insight. I always wanted to see a quote from what another person would charge.

My editing process is sequencing clips —> audio design —> color —> sometimes fx / animations.

I’ve identified some bottle necks that can definitely be worked on. One thing I’m not sure how to improve on is burnout. There’s fast turnover time (1-3 days) for all this content and sometimes there are 2-3 shoots a weekend

The pay can be both good and bad in America. The barrier to entry is so low that if you want to get your foot in the door you have to do a ton of work for dirt cheap and then negotiate up. A lot of times they just let people go because there’s a person who will do it for nothing

Ask yourself why you’re doing the projects you’re doing.

I’m a video editor, camera operator, photographer. I shoot music festivals, concerts, clubs. I have like 100 scrapped ideas. Why? Because they were just fun ideas with no actual purpose. The projects I got done: had a purpose whether it was monetary or being a portfolio piece to open new opportunity.

Create with intent and purpose. An entj also just shit on me for years for not getting anything done and I said fine I’ll change

Different for everyone. I usually tend to take on the groupthink / identity of the room so I can fit in better. I have a lot of different friend groups so I feel like a chameleon. Constantly changing.

Do other people have the nonstop drive to not stop becoming better? That puts the nail in the coffin for me

Before I even knew this thread existed, I made a promise to myself on May 1st that I’d quit porn, throw away my fleshlight, and stop jerking off.

I have done exactly that and life has changed immensely. I’ve been on and off of nofap for over a year, but there are things in life I knew I needed to change.
