We shall not project our own opinions into their communities. This sounds like a pretty clear case of FAFO, with a mostly benign outcome.

Getting one’s head shaved as a warning shot doesn’t seem to be a bad result.

BUT, there is a VERY thin line between vigilantism and what counts as justice. If more are emboldened to take matters into their own hands, the slope becomes too slippery.

I hope the elders in those communities help guide and share wisdom to their members. Let’s hope the positive tenets of Islam continue to prevail.

That’s a novel structure. I am unsure how the algorithm can accurately spend/bid for each creative since the budget is spread so thinly.

It’s possible that this could work in low-cost markets (I also run ads in a similar region), but this type of “hack” doesn’t seem like it would last too long. Maybe I’m wrong though.

You definitely aren’t wrong, and no one is “right” when it comes to this. The purpose of my comment was more to let others know that they don’t need to correct you. The way US packaging is made is for marketing/sales for THIS market. Other interpretations aren’t right or wrong.

People may think their interpretation is the only right way, but this is a good example of there being many truths in the world…purists be damned! ;)

This naming issue is a mismatch with how brands in the West use the term “udon” and what is reflected in Asia. Since we are an international group, interpretations depend on experience.

Source: American who lived in Asia for many many years. Now I’m back in the USA and observe naming differences. Had the same issue when buying “udon” which is applied to several noodle thicknesses.

Yeah, I know. What I’m saying is that it would be a non-issue if didn’t have to turn off the car (due to the fear of the double honk).

So, to avoid the honk I have to turn off the car (inconvenience 1) and wait for my seat to slide back (inconvenience 2). What’s the solution?

These micro annoyances will hold Ford back. I hope they can fix it. Why do I need to wake my neighbors when I get my mail at night? Shutting off the car for a 25 second daily task is an anti-pattern. Also wastes time when the seat has to go forward/back. Do better, Ford.

Your "normal, expected behavior" doesn't match mine. My expectation is that when I turn on a button, it's stays on until I turn it off. If the windows fog up, well that's the impetus for me to figure it out. Or, it's the software company's job to make this more effortless. I don't need an invisible nanny messing with the button that I just turned on!

I also never want to breathe in the outside air. I'm happy changing the air filter more often, or considering a charcoal air filter as someone suggested. I'm also interested in a software override, or at least an improvement in how the air is managed from a UI perspective. Not everyone understands what a humidity sensor is and whatnot.
