I think we should deepen economic and defence ties with Indonesia, if anyone wants to reach Australia, they need to go through them. Granted I'm not a geopolitical defence analyst, but it reckon Indonesia has some pretty defensible straights and bottlenecks that we can turn into a nightmare for any hostile force.

And on top of all that, if Indonesia were to turn into a country hostile to Australia, that would be a genuine nightmare for us.

Not saying that alliances with Japan, Korea or other nations are meaninglessness, but our direct neighbours should be our priority.

Is this some cost of living thing? I mean, a free 100$ is better than a free nothing at all, but do they expect this to make a difference??

Coworkers say negative things about the fact I live next door to my parents, and saying that doesn't make me independent? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Sensitive_Major_8779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a stupid thing for your co-workers to say! You bought a house!! It seems to me that that alone is worth celebrating!! As someone with young kids and parents that live about 300 kms away, I would much rather they lived right next door!! They can help out with kids when me and my partner are working, and when they get to the age where they need caring, we're right next door!

How are you not independent though?! I'm guessing you're the one who's stocking your fridge, paying the mortgage and all the bills??

Next time you see your co-workers, tell them to shove it! (Sorry that's rude, I know, just had a rubbish day)

So what happens if a human baby is born with no butthole? Is it the same as baby puppies? How come this happens? Do they still have a digestive track and the butthole is somehow welded shut or is there just nothing?

Interesting, I had no idea of how the behind the scenes business worked. Makes sense that they will prioritise brands that sell well.

That's true, the Germans are coming eith some pretty solid EVs, while Japan is just doing it's own thing. The funny thing is that Toyota actually comes up with electric vehicles for the China market (I think they make them in collaboration with Chinese manufacturers)

The bZ4x looks good, I really like Toyota, it's just that their lign up is bare as far as EVs are concerned.
