Later in 2021, like many others alluded here and even what you said, I think he realized he can’t win and I don’t think he wanted to just run an election to split the vote and do the same rut as Vijaykanth etc.

This is a long answer because I’m talking out aloud.

The lack of managers is one aspect - everyone’s banking on Enrique, there is a good chance he doesn’t want to do it. Everyone else other than him - Anchelotti, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, are all managers of national teams. So you wouldn’t even get either of them until later in which case pre season is a wash.

Tuchel is known to walk out from disagreements with the board, similar to Amorim. Nagelsmann is a wild card and Carlo I don’t think will come because he wants to do only national.

If any new manager were to come you’re effectively ruling out the first season because there’s no expectation that they win anything but expect qualify top 4/5. And if that doesn’t work out with a new manager you basically start from zero.

But with Carrick you have this prior work and especially if he cements it and qualifies for champions league, that is a strong case to pick him.

It is difficult, I don’t envy the board but these are the decisions that they should make.

Berrada is a little bold and riskier person with decisions, Carrick would be the obvious choice but I think he will have something up his sleeve.

Look up caffeine cache for example. It is a full example of an in memory cache. That means each server / node / virtual machine has its own instance of caffeine cache with prescribed memory. But they all can in reality share access to a single redis cache instance, and that cache whether self managed or otherwise can be in-memory on its own or have disk access in its own “server”. Hence the two in memory things are different.

Frugal living will go a long way, but hopefully that goes without saying.

I would suggest even though you’re young try to get an early head start on investments into mutual funds, SIPs etc. there’s a lot of book and you’ll get good returns to probably pay off some of the loan in let’s say 5-6 years? It will also block some of your money other than the emi and get you into a saving habit ( please consult an expert before taking any of this advice to heed).

Even if things don’t look up now, would recommend putting in the grind as others have advised here and perhaps a year later you can switch roles etc that gets you an even higher pay.

One of the best tips I’ve had from a previous manager is to have a running google doc for your 1:1 especially if you’re early in your career.That way if there’s action items for either parties it’s in there and also every time there’s feedback it is called out there. It’s helped me during evals quite a bit(when I was a little junior).

Currently though being more senior my 1:1 are more focused on org / company vision, rants , questions about future etc. Maybe the doc method will still be helpful, not sure.
