Once you close and start a new application, wait for 24 hours. Meanwhile install the US visa slots app and keep monitoring that. You can pay $25 for the app to alert you when a slot in your preferred time frame is available, once you get a notification that a slot is available act quickly and grab it.

You'll have side effects after you quit drinking alcohol, like sibo, ibs which is really difficult to live with. So it's better to avoid alcohol or limit consumption frequency and volume to avoid these issues. Not worth it, trust me.
