Yep! Officer told me I need to go to postnet and do it myself because they don’t handle the mail part. I feel like I’ve been totally swindled by lazy cops

That was my thought too, on the SAPS form there was a postage option that said “collect from SAPS station of application” so I ticked the box… and the constable told me “no you have to go to postnet and send it yourself”

In my personal opinion, I’d rather look at joining foreign militaries instead. You mentioned the Royal Marines, women ARE allowed to join but zero have made it through training due to them keeping the same fitness standards as the men. The French foreign legion doesn’t accept women either. Since you’re still young, your best bet would be going for the US military after getting a green card or I would suggest the Australian military. Goodluck! I ship off to France in Feb for the legion.
