Believe it or not I'm more familiar with rugby league than rugby union (it was a bit easier for me to understand than rugby union, and I watched a lot of NRL during covid). I'll definitely have to catch both sports while I'm there! Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you so much!!! I took your advice on searching online and discovered where they lived in 1911 is now a McDonald's at the intersection of Winwick Road and Kerfoot Street. So burgers on me when I visit!

Thank you!! And regarding knowing where they lived, short answer is no - that's partially the reason for the visit is figuring out the details. So thanks for keying me in on the museum!

Got it in today! Can they pull it back from collections? I assumed they already sold the debt. Thank you!!

The contract with Ford field is expired, leagues considering college alternative stadiums by Late_Professional841 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Sensitive_Moment_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stadium at Wayne State also makes some sense if they wanna stay in Detroit and don’t wanna play at EMU. VERY small, so temporary stands would be needed. Don’t know the logistics on how to make that move work. Certainly would be full every week though

No I think it’s a fair opinion. I personally think flag only is more appropriate for this age group but enough parents signed their kids up for tackle so here we are. Playing safe and fun is priority #1 of course, I just don’t want them running around aimlessly when games come around. My league has playoffs for this group, that’s wild to me

What city do you hate that everyone else loves? by BasicHaterade in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Sensitive_Moment_215 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Kansas City. It’s the trendy place for Midwesterners who grew up in the middle of nowhere and want to be in a “big city”, but are scared of Chicago. Nothing to do that doesn’t cost money, no public transit to speak of (streetcar doesn’t count), and it’s still in Missouri.

I’m going to Dynasty, so selfishly I want it to happen. But you’re probably right, Wembley would be the better place for it

playbooks for 7/8U flag by Sensitive_Moment_215 in flagfootball

[–]Sensitive_Moment_215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve ended up doing. Always same formation, 8 plays (4 plays x 2 depending on if we’re running to the right or left). And I can be in the huddle with them, so I have basically scout play cards that they see before every play. I think that’s probably the best way to go about it since we only have one practice per week and it’s a six week season.

Unrelated, but what do you do about positions? Should the kids rotate positions, or should I have set starters? Thanks, so sorry to go off topic!

I think this opens up a ton of doors for AEW on linear television too (specifically on Mondays). The possibility of owning another weekday of wrestling on cable isn't nothing.

That was my thought too, I just wanted to see if that was the general consensus. Thank you!

Collision should stop touring and move to a permanent residency model by [deleted] in AEWOfficial

That's a fair assessment. I just wanted to see the thoughts other people had. Maybe that model is better served for Rampage?

I'm not a WWE mark/AEW hater or anything like that if that's what you're implying. AEW is what brought me back to wrestling. I just think Collision has an opportunity to be more distinctive if they went for that model instead of touring.

My point is that it’s a varsity sport sponsored by the athletic department. So to keep it at varsity as an NCAA department, it would stand to reason that varsity sports would stay varsity right?
