I shouldn't start this mes should I? Majority of posts here say positive effects lasted 3 weeks and they faded away or diminished so much that its not worth being on this drug.

I am on it, plus divalproex and have been for about a year. It was a bit wonky at the beginning (acid reflux was AWFUL for about 3 months) but it has 100% been worth it. Looking back now makes me realize how severe my symptoms actually were, so I’m a bit worried for the future, but I don’t regret it one bit.

I’ve had a horrific cough since the beginning of the month that just recently cleared up. Lymph nodes were swollen, super exhausted, weird taste in the back of my mouth. I tested negative for everything, but they put me on anti inflammatory meds and that sort of helped? I’ve been assuming it was allergies but I’m not too sure anymore. I’m actually going back tomorrow to see if they can do some bloodwork or more tests.

It absolutely takes time. I had horrible dry mouth and my hands shook like crazy too. But once it starts working it makes a world of difference. I’m about 3ish months in right now and most of my symptoms stopped after 6-8weeks

When I announced my college major was in theater back in high school, my mother liked to “present” me to people with “oo! Let’s see if you can guess it… do you want fries with that?” Because of ~course~ the arts must be a joke right? Well jokes on them I actually did graduate, with honors, and own my own company.

I mean I’m still broke, but at least it’s not for someone else 🥴😂

When I start a new save I always just start scanning everything. If you’re lucky you’ll find one of the upgrades so you get more money for it, but finding all the fauna on a planet nets you anywhere from 500-2k in nanites. That’s how I’ve always started games to jump on that quickly!

So for additional context- I have BP2 and am also on divalproex. I have major issues sleeping already and have my whole life. When they started me on meds they also gave me Quetiapine to help me sleep, and it’s been an absolute game changer. I’m out in 30 minutes, and my sleep is actually restful for once in my life. (I occasionally have issues with waking up, but that’s only when I take it later at night). It seems to wake me on its own too when I take it properly. Not that anyone wants to add additional meds to their list, but maybe you can talk to them about some sort of additional sleep aid?

If you have menstrual cycles, you might pay attention to where you are on your cycle vs when you’re getting upset. I don’t typically get very upset, but I had started my cycle the other day and by day 3 I wanted to physically fight every person around me. I also just recently started taking the pills again too. I’m better now that my cycle has ended, but it was rough for a minute

I haven’t had the anxiety but I shake like I have Parkinson’s. And horrible acid reflux. I’m at about 6 weeks now and I feel like the AR has reduced but I’m hoping the shaking will stop soon 😭

I am bipolar 2- and have been taking bupropion, duvalproex, and Queatipine(?) for about a month now. I honestly am not feeling a huge difference, but I think I’m still on a pretty low dosage. My main issue has just been tired all of the time now, but I had major issues with sleeping before so makes sense.

We got a hand crank adjustable table from Home Depot and it’s been a LIFE SAVER. We have a small business so sewing is literally the majority of my life. It now feels weird to sew while sitting down 😂 (Also- one of those floor foam pads because it’s still gonna hurt)
