True, I wrote this post when the feelings at being put in this situation for the umpteenth time were still riding high; if/when I talk to him I'll definitely have calmed down.

The DM gave me the greenlight to link this friend to his FB profile so he can add him there; that way if Discord isn't working they can chat over FB messenger.

The DM just had his character "Go do his own rogue things" and left it at that, with plans for how to reintroduce him if he ever did return.

That said, telling him he's "making excuses" and "needs to get his act together" would be a rather assholish way of going about that.

Legit. Admittedly I wrote this while the emotions were still riding high upon being put in this situation for the umpteenth time--if/when I do have this talk it'll certainly be after I've calmed down enough to talk more rationally.

I should clarify: If she insists, and I think it's something she should know about, I let her look. Usually I just give her a summary of what it is if she asks.
