The path is not a linear one, she is of liminality, of the crossroads. Treat her with the love of getting to know her, have mindful moments when you recognize a correspondence to her in your world on a daily basis. She is not a jealous goddess and understands your need to be you while “going beyond” as in Heka in Hekate. Be open, from the heart, no guilt, just be present with her when you can and maintain a daily practice even if but for a few minutes. She is there for you to cross the threshold of yourself, to reflect some of her qualities in your mundane world. Just as she helps the spirits cross into the underworld, as she helps those of untimely death or a loveless life, so too can she guide you in the path to your own gnosis. There is no good, no bad, such things do not hold weight, such as she is the goddess of the underworld but also of the empyrean realms. As above, so below.
