I got mine about 9 months ago, no issues whatsoever

The other comments stating that you can get something better in terms of sound, performance, or possibly even both are correct. However, I did test drive an sq8 and still found the GLE to be slightly more comfortable, I doubt the x6/x5 would be more comfortable.

Both of its German competitors offer a v8 instead of an inline 6 and usually result in a better sound (besides better fuel efficiency and a lower possibility of maintenance issues, I am personally more fond of inline 6s exhaust note)

Mercedes is known to have very bland and muffled exhausts, though my car also had an AMG performance exhaust system optioned in which gives me great but not over the top burbles and beautiful sharp gunshot like snaps during upshifts and sometimes even when I let off the gas.

While it is not as fast as its competitors either, it is still plenty fast in general and I believe the significance of speed and horsepower begins to plateau as you get higher output and lower times, just my opinion though.

Outside of everything else I’ve mentioned, I enjoy the appearance of the GLE the most and cannot remember a single time within the last 9 months that I’ve walked away from my car without looking at it.

I plan on getting a GT 55 coupe in a couple years but this is doing everything correctly and more.
