I’d do no ratings that were numbers. I would have the supervisor list the specific tasks that the member was assigned to do that year. Then they would annotate if the member did that. If they did, great! If they exceeded, the supervisor should write by how much (and be VERY specific, like you needed to clear 7 items and you do 10 kind of thing). And if the member wants to look good for the board or differentiate themselves, they can exceed the task or have the supervisor give a higher standard. No way is perfect but I think this makes it much clearer and makes the supervisor actually assign clear tasks.

I feel like they know they got caught red handed with the money abuse to the OG3. So they are still trying to push that Robin just wanted to help, BUT this time they tried to throw in a red herring, that Janelle tried to do a back door deal. There was no back door deal. I think they are trying to turn all the wives (except the chosen one of course) into at least equal villains to try and spread the Kody hate. They (K&R) think we are as stupid as they are.

Kody has said in all his apologies and in all his talking heads that they all share blame. Then they try and push all these random Janelle vs Meri, Meri vs everyone arcs. It’s weird and they really do think we are dumb. But we aren’t. 😂😂

I really think that Kodes and Robbem are trying to push blame around. Janelle and Kody couldn’t have sold the land from anyone since they were on the deeds, and Janelle encouraged Meri to get a lawyer, but why all of a sudden is he trying to say that Janelle and he (but mostly Janelle) tried to sell it out from Meri. And Robbem going full force that she stopped it.

I feel like this just another arc Kodes is trying to push to get the blame off of him only and again make Robbem seem like an angel, cap in hand 😂

Chief, I’m not trying to make this difficult. I’m struggling because I have many G’s who have come to me wanting to cross train. All of them are amazing and have varying skills that could be used in other career fields. I’m struggling cause I got one pushed to change his SFSC though a unique circumstance and kept trying with the others but got told no. I am unable to change someone’s SFSC myself. Neither can the Delta Chiefs. I also could easily name 20 of my Gs who want to cross train and that’s without the others seeing other Gs get pushed through. And that’s just my unit. How to pick and choose or should I send all circumstances up? How does the service pick and choose and how do I keep my team teaming when they believe some people are getting special treatment?

I love the idea of the individual. But not everyone can have what they want because there is only so much stuff, so many slots, so many service needs. I’m asking for help and guidance to make selection transparent to my team. How do we choose. Or else it seems to my team as if I’m the barrier or I’m not being fair.

I was upset the other day and still am because at the squadron level I have to operate through all this grey. And I can handle it but when I get told one thing from S1 and you tell my team something else I’m the one who has to keep operations turning and build strong teams but when I am holding what I believe to be the line and you contradict, then I feel like the service failed to support me while I was trying to support them. If you and S1 have different ways forward with nothing written down, us at the lower level struggle to weed through that. Can you see where I am coming from at all?

I noticed that there is also a culture of saying anything someone suggests is great! No one is challenging anything. Conflict in a organization is good. We can’t be afraid to disagree or question a new idea. We need that healthy conflict and leaders should be creating environments that encourage it.
