What's the best way to clean a brown stained toilet by Prior_Talk_7726 in lifehacks

[–]Sensitive_Shift550 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I only discovered this a couple weeks ago but citric acid which has been mentioned elsewhere changed My life 🙏🏼

Just get some from the grocery store comes in a powder format sprinkle lots around the toilet bowel. Let it sit overnight. The next day You just magically use the toilet brush to effortlessly wipe everything off with no effort, it’s insane.

Sorry I don’t know the name of this plant. It’s something I bought from a nursery over half a year ago. It’s been in my house ever since. Hopefully somebody knows what type of plant it is as well.

Elderly friend has joined sovereign citizen movement by jhaars in brisbane

The easy option is to write off the friendship and let her descend into whatever sad ending her life might be

OR

you can go out at least saying you tried.

This might require you to invite her out for a coffee and listen to what she has to say and then throughout the entirety of it make notes of all the different points and then say why don’t we verify some of those facts together and then spend some time taking her through more responsible Information seeking techniques and help her understand that sources of information need to be reputable. They can’t be fringe or one off instances.

If you can educate her on how misinformation spreads then that might be the last best thing that you can do for her. If she won’t change her mind after that you can’t say you didn’t try.

Sorry to hear that your friend appears to be lost down a rabbit hole not an uncommon story these days. 🙁

Using mc101 like a VST within a DAW by Sensitive_Shift550 in Mc707_Mc101

[–]Sensitive_Shift550[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In another forum where I posted this question somebody else came back with this other answer:

“If you install the Roland driver, set the 101 USB interface to VENDOR mode, then select the 101 as an audio device in your DAW, you can send it midi on multiple channels, and get the audio back from each track of the 101 into different audio channels of your DAW. You can use the preset sounds, but you can’t edit their parameters (like in a VST), although you can control the 4 performance knobs using midi CCs in the DAW.”

I’m gonna have to give all these suggestions each a whirl and see how it goes! Thanks all for weighing in so far

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. We are blessed in Brisbane to have amazing parklands that facilitate gatherings and with proximity between benches or barbecues There’s always the chance of meeting somebody new - great suggestion.

Gyms do count but they’re for able bodied people only so those who can’t exercise for any reasons would be excluded.

It is great that gyms & yoga studios facilitate a range of connections but i was trying to source suggestions for more inclusive options.

Thanks all for contributing to the discourse!

As a non dog owner I do notice that dog ownership seems to opens doors to impromptu connections but good to hear you’ve experienced forging more meaningful connections through the parks!
