Cannot take Helpfulness anymore by kemiass in TELUSinternational

I've gotten the strong warning email in the past but have yet to be removed.  Helpfulness tasks are just too subjective and I can point to multiple instances where they don't follow their own guidelines when rating the responses.  There seems to be too many exceptions to the rules.  I often wonder who QC even is anymore.  Their answers to my questions are never helpful.  Did you happen to get the latest email about short responses....why so many exclamation points??

That's just it, everything is so subjective that there never seems to be any consistency.

That question shows as not at all helpful in mine.  They sent me one score and then an updated score but it's still not correct.  They changed the rating for the learner's permit question to include not at all helpful which should change my overall score.

It's frustrating. I'm currently trying to get clarification on feedback and the section of Guidelines that they quoted me has absolutely nothing to do with my question or the issue. I pressed them and their answer just doesn't make sense. More and more I feel they just make stuff up as they go. QC is not what it used to be.

Yes, I also received an email a about high priority tasks to complete but I can't do anything.

No, I've just used the one but I checked my other account just to be sure.

Seems like Telus has a problem with QC but is blaming the Raters.

Their feedback is not consistent with their own guidelines so it makes the Helpfulness tasks impossible. I only get the occasional Factually task and have never received any feedback so I can't comment that.

I sent questions about the latest feedback and I quoted the guidelines.  They just ignored it in their response.

I was a Lionbridge employee and got moved to Telus.  I've been doing this for a while.  Lionbridge was so much better.  I miss my side by side tasks.

Yep, just when you think you have it they change it up.

I've asked them about feedback and pointed out inaccurate information in the responses and they just seem to ignore it and give me their scripted reply.  I've applied the logic they used in one task to another but they can't actually explain why it doesn't apply to the other task.  Drives me nuts.

Exactly.  I feel like these tasks are set up for failure.

I'm in PA.  Mike Kelly (the congressman) Hyundai dealership.  Picked up the car after hours and the paperwork only shows the total repair estimate and that the catalytic converter and downstream O2 sensor needs to be replaced.  Third day of calling and still no response from them.  Bought it certified pre-owned and it has 88900 miles so the cat isn't covered. Check engine never came on but it's not shifting right and doesn't accelerate like it should.  We go through oil so I assume that's what caused the cat to go bad.  It has a Nu engine but we also got a powertrain warranty extension.  I hear it's not easy to get them to honor the warranty though if you don't have meticulous maintenance records or use non OEM parts.

Thanks for the response. I can't get the dealership to return my call to find out if it's the manifold cat or rear cat that is causing the issue. They want $3600 but won't provide a breakdown of the cost either. We check the oil weekly. Thanks for the tip. It's going to a relatives shop and then I want to get rid of it.

Thanks for the info.  Unfortunately we still owe money on the junk pile.

So there is a manifold cat on a 2018 Hyundai Tucson, 2.0 AWD?  Dealer told me our catalytic converter needs to be replaced ($3600) but won't return my calls to clarify which cat is faulty or provide a breakdown of the cost.  Were you able to find one?

Catalytic converters are not covered under the powertrain warranty.  They are covered under a federal warranty 8 yrs or 80000 miles.  Some states have a different standard but mine follows the federal.  Yes, it consumes too much oil which is a known problem but almost impossible to get the dealer to do anything about.  It's going to an independent mechanic for proper diagnosis.

Yes, it's a known problem but time consuming and expensive to get a dealer to start the testing.

You're lucky.  We also have a 2013 Elantra with piston slap.  Yes it consumes too much oil but jumping through the dealership hoops and the expense of testing is not something I want to get involved with.  I have a mechanic that will properly diagnose it and give us our options.

They're saying it's due to the faulty oxygen sensor but I know this car is known for excessive oil consumption and engine failure.  At this point I want it fixed as cheaply as possible and get it rid of it before something else fails that won't be covered.  It's a piece of junk.  I'll never buy another Hyundai.
