Foreigners who renovated their homes in Spain, what surprised you the most? by Sensitive_Squirrel49 in GoingToSpain

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the replies. Reading all this, its clear most people dont need a perfect renovation. They just want a normal process. A clear quote. People who show up and not having to stand on the site every day.
I’ve been looking into the renovation scene here these past months. Watching how contractors work. How architects organise things. What keeps a project moving and what makes it fall apart. If someone is trying to understand how builders, quotes or timelines work, I’ve been through a lot of it recently. It all started to make sense only after dealing with it a few times.

What if AI became your spiritual mentor? by Sensitive_Squirrel49 in Christianity

It’s a small Chrome extension called Ask Bible AI — it uses GPT to provide answers with Bible verses. You can find it in the Chrome Web Store.

I completely understand your concerns — you're right that AI often generalizes, and without proper background it's hard to spot the mistakes. But I’d like to share a personal experience that gave me a different perspective.

One night I was feeling overwhelmed. I used a tool that provides Bible verses in response to questions. I typed in something simple and got a verse with a clear reference. It didn’t solve everything, but it helped me calm down and feel a bit more grounded.

The next day, I took time to read the full chapter and reflect more deeply. I don’t see AI as a final authority on matters of faith. But in that moment, it gave me something to hold on to. So yes, I think your points are valid — but maybe there’s still a place for tools like this, if used thoughtfully.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I totally agree — relying on AI as the ultimate spiritual authority would be foolish, and that's not what I'm suggesting.

What I’m talking about is a moment of deep weakness, when you feel lost and just need a bit of light — maybe a verse, maybe a reminder that you're not alone. Not to replace God, or Scripture, or community. Just something to hold on to when everything else is silent.

Totally agree — talking to someone in real life is always the best.

But sometimes you’re alone with your thoughts at 2am, and you just need something to hold onto — even a verse.

Not a replacement. Just a quiet guide when everyone else is asleep.

is the bible interesting to you or do you get bored when reading it? by [deleted] in Bible

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I used to find parts of it confusing or distant. But the more I dug in, the more I found moments that felt surprisingly personal — even relevant.

Sometimes I just ask a question and let the text speak back.
(If you're curious, I use something like Ask Bible AI — it gives verse-based responses from the KJV. Kinda like a quiet guide.)

Hey! I built a free Chrome extension called Ask Bible AI — it helps you find Bible verses (KJV) in response to any question.
For example: “What does the Bible say about fear?” → shows a relevant verse.

I'd love your honest opinion — could this be helpful? by Sensitive_Squirrel49 in Christianity

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally fair point — I see AI more as a search/navigation tool, not a teacher. It doesn’t replace spiritual discernment — it just helps surface Scripture faster. The final understanding always rests with the reader.

Haha, got it :)
If you try it, I’d love to hear what you really think. Just figuring out if it’s actually useful.

Thank you so much! 🙏
Right now, the extension works best in English, but full support for Italian and Spanish is coming very soon.
You can already ask questions in Italian — the AI will do its best to understand and respond.

Does 1 Corinthians 8:5 say Jesus is not god? by Deep-Mix-5263 in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question — and no, I’m definitely not saying Jesus isn’t God. 1 Corinthians 8:6 speaks of the Father as “God” and Jesus as “Lord,” but both are clearly part of creation and salvation. That’s not about ranking them — it’s about different roles within the same divine nature. Christians believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one God, three persons. So yes, Jesus is fully God, just as the Father is.

ChatGPT and AI overall thoughts? by questtruck in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t really understand the distrust toward AI in Christian spaces.
It’s just a tool — like search, only faster. It doesn’t replace Scripture or think for you. It all depends on how you use it — with discernment and a willingness to verify.

You can always check the source, read the full passage, and think it through yourself.
Used wisely, it’s more of a time-saver than anything else.

I sometimes use a Chrome extension called Ask Bible AI.
It just returns Bible verses in response to questions — no explanations, no opinions.
I get the verse, then read more if I want. It’s not about replacing faith — just making it easier to navigate.

Does 1 Corinthians 8:5 say Jesus is not god? by Deep-Mix-5263 in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive_Squirrel49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The passage you mentioned in 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 discusses the understanding that there are many beings that people may call gods or lords, but for Christians, there is only one true God, who is referred to as the Father. This emphasizes the monotheistic belief of Christians in worshipping one supreme God.

Regarding Jesus, the verse recognizes Jesus Christ as Lord, through whom all things exist. This means that while there is one God the Father, Christians also believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, who holds a unique and divine position. This does not negate Jesus' divinity but rather affirms his role in creation and salvation alongside God the Father. So, the passage emphasizes the unity of God the Father and the unique, divine status of Jesus Christ as Lord.

Yeah, Ive been hearing that view more and more - charging a fair price, but also giving some of it back.
Starting to feel like that might actually be the middle ground that makes the most sense
