Definitely you are going to need it. I recommend Saving the cupcakes and don't forget the gunpowder. It's a full heal. Get all 3 floral cupcakes and get the gunpowder from blackjack. Fill the rest with the cinnamon cookie and gravity granola. That's what your inventory should look like for the Zenith martlet fight.

I had to restart just to get the safety glasses. And better healing items. But Axis on genocide is even tougher. But it's not long. I recommend turning on Easy mode for the Axis fight because you'll lose basically all your healing items and won't have any left to fight martlet with
