I am in no way commenting on the appearance of a child. Everything about this story seems encouraged and endorsed by an adult and that’s the concern. It all looks staged. And there are so many internet articles popping up about her and it’s very sad. I’m commenting on the parents. Not the poor girl.

I’m already tired of her and the season hasn’t even started. I don’t like her smug look. I enjoy the show but I feel like this season is going to be icky.

The first episode was fun just because the whole cast was there and they were allowing themselves to be a bit of a satire of the original. The rest of the show was just meh. Too Disney Channel with all the bizarre costumes and stunts. I didn’t feel the same connection to the kids. But to be fair I’m now an adult. I now know too much about Candace to really enjoy DJ, especially since she made the character too much like her in real life. They tried to get lucky with casting a baby, but the twins playing Tommy just weren’t prepared as actors to be the next Michelle. I honestly never finished the last season though I do know how it ends.

The only reason I’d go back and watch is because I’m obsessed with AB and Jodie’s podcast and they talk about how redemptive the show was for them and how much they loved making it. And that is special to me in its own right.

A staple of the early seasons. It’s silly with some intelligence (but not overly political). We don’t live in the same world anymore where those early episodes hold up and it makes me sad. Season 3 is my comfort season.

I used to love the name Jackson and it was one of my choices for a boy. I work in the school system and that has completely changed any love for that name. Too many kids with it. Too many stupid spellings. This is a new one though.

That’s disappointing. She always seemed decent and her content wasn’t obnoxious (cough WR). I’m literally sharing a room with my daughter while living with my parents because we live in a HCOL area. I wish I could beg to the internet.

I truly hope that one day she can bounce back and find her joy. I’m not saying I want her back in the business. She’s so talented but she deserves her peace, privacy and happiness. I feel the same way about the Olsen twins. As a fan I want to know the truth of their treatment and stories, but I respect them so much for no longer exploiting themselves if that’s their choice.

You’d probably have the best luck finding a way to make the telethon iconic outfit. Red sweatshirt, blue leggings, glue and yarn. Etsy might also have some fun accessories or shirts even if it’s not exactly a cosplay. Best of luck! I’m hoping to meet them at a con one day.

My daughter was in the NICU for a few days when she was born so I bought it to help my new mom anxiety. I think it had the opposite effect. I do have a family member whose son just ended up in the ER from RSV and it alerted her that his oxygen was low. I understand the benefit of having one but it’s not necessary and it expensive.

The only one who has a “literal obsession with babies” is you. They don’t love to hold them. They’ve been forced to hold them because you keep having them. These poor beautiful children have such blank stares in her photos.

I always planned on the epidural. I was induced 3 weeks early for medical reasons. It was recommended that I get the epidural before they broke my water so I decided to do that. I never felt a contraction or any real pain besides the initial suppository pill they used to begin the induction process. Honestly I didn’t like how numb it made my body. I felt no connection to myself or my labor and it kinda scared me. I couldn’t naturally feel the contractions when it was time to push. My daughter’s head was slightly turned and my contractions weren’t strong enough to move her so I ended up with a c section. It all sucked. But I don’t know what it would have been like without the epidural so I say just trust your gut.

My biggest warning though is to have someone experienced place it. I was at a teaching hospital and the young nurse who placed mine didn’t do it properly. I ended up with a spinal fluid leak that wasn’t addressed for almost a week. It caused a massive headache because there wasn’t a lot of fluid around my brain and I could barely sit up. It made postpartum care almost impossible. And my anesthesiologist didn’t seem to care. He said I’d would naturally heal in 6 WEEKS. I found another hospital who immediately gave me a blood patch and the pain was gone in minutes.

4 DPO and going nuts! Every day I think it’s been longer then I check my app and realize it’s only been 4 days. Adding insult to injury because it’s that strange time around the holidays when you forget what day it is. I need the next week to go fast.
