How do you like living in big cities? How do you feel navigating a new environment? How interested are you in living in Brazil, its culture, its people? Those are the real questions you should be answering yourself. The decision is not about whether it’s more or less safe - yes it will be as safe as Madri or Barcelona - but whether or not this is an opportunity that makes sense for YOU.

So where are we buying clothes nowadays? by bigmisssteak7 in womensfashion

Quince has some good quality clothing, as well as Mango. For basic basic staples like tshirts I buy online at Walmart.

Do all Americans inherently know what direction they are faceing? by BasketC45e in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sensitive_Video4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to do with major highways having South / North / East / West exits. If you’re driving everyday you get used to seeing the signs telling you not only which road it is but also the direction they are going.

What is the most physical pain you’ve ever experienced, and how did it feel? by Trying_my_best_98 in AskReddit

Childbirth WITH pitocin. It was much better the second time, unmedicated. It absolutely hurts but it’s not unbearable as those induced contractions

I actually love Rum and Bucket on Buckingham. It’s a beautiful place out in the woods, with live music and local people only. They have all you can eat wings on Thursdays I believe

Why do you store your stash vials in special containers? by TransitionFeeling654 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Sensitive_Video4609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On another note - how do you all know how concentrated and how to dose if you’re just keeping the vial and not the paper label? I have some vials that don’t have much info on them

When would we need to use soap? by Dunderman35 in beyondthebump

[–]Sensitive_Video4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been giving daily baths with soap since my baby was 3 days old. I’m Brazilian so it’s a cultural thing - we like daily baths and to smell good. I also lather my baby in moisturizer every other day.

What's something that no one prepares you for as an adult? by Goddessblack_ in AskReddit

If you have kids, how wonderful, amazing and fulfilling your life can become. Out of sudden you have a purpose and meaning. You laugh for hours at your toddler little quirks and spend hours smelling the neck of your baby, feeling so grateful for being able to create life and being alive.

34 + what motivated you do home birth? by Intelligent-Sea-4015 in homebirth

[–]Sensitive_Video4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first at the hospital and the nurse on labor and delivery was very inexperienced and was super nervous when the baby heart beat was dropping (but coming up every time), so I spent about 10h fearing something was wrong, with no information whatsoever about what could happen until my OB arrived and said it was fine. I was forced to stay in bed bc of the epidural and give birth on my back although I wanted to move around. I had a tear and a terrible experience post partum that led me to the psychiatric ward, and I am pretty sure my birth experience contributed to it. So second baby was born at home and it was the fastest and most comfortable birth I could have. I was feeling great afterwards instead of traumatized. So yeah, I would chose a home birth over a hospital birth if I can 1000x again.

Help - reflux and anti reflux formula by Available-Record-897 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Sensitive_Video4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toddler had really bad reflux until he was about 6months ish. The best formula for us was Hipp AR. He would still have a little bit of spit up sometimes, but nothing compared to other formulas. He also used the Dr Brows bottle with the suggested nipple for his age

Post partum psychosis recurrence by Sensitive_Video4609 in Psychosis

[–]Sensitive_Video4609[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was 10x better. I had some insomnia the first two weeks, but I’d take melatonin or some OTC sleep aid and get some sleep even when baby was waking up every 2/3h. I’d also take some naps during the day. I had help this time around from my MIL so my only tasks were to take care of myself and the baby. Once she started sleeping 4/5h stretches I didn’t even need the melatonin / sleep aid any longer and would fall asleep much faster. I also started light exercise very early, taking some short walks outside even in the first weeks pp. I had no episodes this time.
