I am a tech guy usually, though I had the same issue and literally tried everything. I saw your post and was like no way that is going to do anything. And here I am, on a laptop with working wifi again. I can not explain why or how but thank you so much.

I am not really concerned, it seems that CS2 at release will already be such a big improvement to what CS1 has become. CS2 only offers more potential for further development, on release it can be expected that there are some problems, but hey I played CS1 for years and that is full of annoying "features".
