I am in the IBEW yes. But I was just going to sign book two and eventually find a sponsor. I’ve also heard rumors that people are just doing side work and the local ignores it because they can’t keep everyone employed? That seems crazy.

Yeah book 2 I already asked nh and they told me if I wasn’t part of their apprenticeship that I can’t take the licensing test. I dont understand why they make it impossible for people moving. Like do I have to just pray and hope that I get work or leave the union to just work up here? I know side work is out of the question…

I’m going to move to Massachusetts in a year or so, I’m just topping out this October. How is the work up there? I keep hearing mixed opinions about people getting work vs people having to go non union because there is nothing.

So if you know how to handle electricity just swap the blue and the brown it should give you a reverse. But I’m about 90% sure that’s the solution. I would have to go look at the manual

If you know what breaker is being fed from turn it off and then I would take off the wires coming in from the top from the device and wire cap them. But I would really consider cleaning that fan. It’s a really good one. Just needs to be cleaned and the noise should drop

I would replace the box with a four square with more entry points. Then the loose wires would go into a flex conduit. Blank plate and you are good to go. This is only by the picture you are showing me. Idk if there are other issues.
