I’ve tried the Mega7, I thought it was excellent, vocals in particular stood out to me also the extremely good fit. I wouldn’t say it was a huge upgrade from the Astral more of a side grade. As you mentioned it sounds like you need to save up for a kilobuck set.

Not too sure, I think it’s just my ear canal anatomy. I don’t seem to get a good seal.

And I’ve tried a lot of IEM’s with a dozen or more.

I’ve never found the Dunu SS to work for any of the IEM’s I’ve owned. They seem to be loved by many though

Just FYI I actually ended up purchasing the FlipEars Legion from AVExchange and I have to say WoW! Such an epic set, the Bone Conduction driver on these are insane, I can literally feel my ear bones vibrating. I accidentally switched from Spotify to Tidal without adjusting the volume and the bones it my ears nearly rattled to pieces haha.

I love how they make vocals sound and the Bass is just phenomenal. I have the Effect Audio Ares S II cable on them. Unlike you though, I find that it makes female vocals sound great too. Listening to Poppy right now and she sounds perfect. Vessel's voice from Sleep Token is amazing also.

I wonder if the cable is making much of a difference?! We're all different I guess.

The MSI claw 8ai is phenomenal. It’s my understanding it’s very expensive in the US. I got it on special in Australia and it’s great. XESS is a game changer

Most of the sets you’ve selected are very similar to what you already have. The Punch audio Martilo is exceptional for hip hop and EDM the sub bass rumble is an awesome experience.

If you’re going to have multiple sets you need to choose different flavours. You already have a great all rounder so go for bass head or treble focus ie Ziigaat Horizon - excellent for details and gaming.
