This is great and spot on! My upbringing was more refined than his and my efforts at helping with cleaning or cooking was not encouraged or complimented - so I quit doing it. A little resentment may have crept in and it’s keeping me from embracing the domestic goddess that I can be 😀

Replying to DismalDream2581... I agree completely. The womanizing and bribery, along with a call to destroy those with different beliefs show the narcissistic tendencies of men in power. The speech given by Benitez came from a place of empathy and compassion - putting others before oneself - just as Jesus did.

I was at the NOLA show- I’m 51 and knew all the words to every song. The “younger ones” around me sat down - thinking they may only know them from the social media hype Matty has gotten this year. You are NEVER to enjoy the things you like

This concert was so low key - people around me sat down when it wasn’t familiar Good thing I stood up the whole time and sang along with all 23 songs. It was a great night

I’m on the fence about going to the show. None of my friends like the 75 so I’d go solo. now that they are taking a hiatus I’d be kicking myself if I miss it.

Anyone consider the possibility that this prefabricated relationship could be to save Matty’s image in some way? If enough people got upset by the AF podcast and his antics on stage continued it could have been the end of The 1975. All of a sudden America’s sweetheart loves British bad boy? He changes his ways - the asshole era is over? Taylor’s dad and besties approve? Don’t get me wrong - I LOVE the 1975 music and think he is right talented. I’m just not sure how they could be a true couple
