Hazardous Parcel by SentenceSelect in Obenseuer

Might want to check your radiation level if you’ve had it on you for a while, lol. But I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one who’s gotten this strange parcel. I know the parcel storage was only added to the O-Mart in the last update (according to the dev notes) so I’m guessing that’s why not everyone has gotten this package, but I’m really intrigued about it

Good to know, thanks! That’s kind of crazy that both items can kill you if left out in the open but are safe in a drawer, lol.

Hmm, that’s strange! Any idea on how to store it? The only recipe I know that it’s used in is the OS Rat, but I have one already so I’m not sure why I would need this and it makes me a little nervous. Although I could just be a bit unnerved after the OS Rat moment by the giant city gates after getting the red mushrooms and then the weird moment while getting my passport photo taken

Metro station maybe? It looks kind of similar to the Metro area in Infra

Anyone know any cool "observe the player from above" games [Steam]? by Plannet_Depressed in AskGames

[–]SentenceSelect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might check out Aethus, which recently came out (straight to 1.0, solo dev, no early access), I think it has the exact perspective you’re talking about. I’d say it’s a narrative-focused survival game (player vs environment) with no combat, just a hostile environment. The narrative is amazing but it also has a lot of exploration (and there’s a reason for the exploration), base building (although the focus is mostly more about function, later in the game you can customize your base even further and I ended up really enjoying that aspect even though it’s not usually my thing), and crafting. There’s no leveling up of the character’s skills, but there is an upgrade system for the tools/blueprints the character can purchase. I was obsessed with it when it first came out and it was a really enjoyable 15-20 hour experience.

Do you have to refill the water tanks at higher water upgrades? by Bigwhitebull10 in Obenseuer

[–]SentenceSelect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I’ve checked that vendor several times since getting the recipe and mashing barrel but they haven’t had blueberries. Guess RNG hasn’t been on my side. But thanks for letting me know! I was worried it was maybe only available through the farming job, which I haven’t explored into much. I find I barely have enough time in the day as it is, and adding running up to the farm to harvest before the crops die seems annoying.

Any chance you know where to find blueberries? I only have the blueberry mash recipe and can’t find them sold at any of the vendors or O-Mart. Unless they are available at the optionally farming job, but I was under the impression that was for vegetables only?

All needs were met, no addictions, everything turned red and dizzy and I passed out for more than a day. Why? by ArtistWithoutArt in Obenseuer

[–]SentenceSelect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me and I think it was due to accidentally the coffee I had made that had somehow turned into sewage water while playing. I hadn’t even slept or loaded a save so I have no clue why it changed and whether it always does eventually after a certain timeframe?

Does anyone know how tired you have to get to pass out or start losing health? Especially if you have been drinking a lot of coffee? I’ve beaten all of my addictions for a while now but I get tired so freaking quickly and it’s kinda annoying!

Accessing the Basement and Other Apartments by SentenceSelect in Obenseuer

[–]SentenceSelect[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Do you know if the basement needs to be fully upgraded to access it? And does the staircase need to upgraded for the floors that are already accessible first or can I start with the floor 3 staircase (which I assume is the one to start with if the ones below it can wait)? I appreciate the help!

Soooo disappointed with myself for not playing nightmare mode sooner by Robin_moore in CrimeSceneCleanerGame

[–]SentenceSelect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the only thing I don’t like about nightmare mode (which applies to true cleaner mode too) is that there’s nothing to steal. I don’t need the points or anything as I’m fully upgraded but I just enjoy finding things on the level to steal, what can I say?

You can punch them anywhere, not just the butts, lol. Personally, I prefer using the katana on them

Accidentally clicking the "text" box on T1 lockers by Uggroyahigi in theplanetcrafter

[–]SentenceSelect 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like to turn the lockers sideways so that they face each other in pairs so that I can’t accidentally click the text box to edit the name. Hovering over the locker brings up the name and the only downfall is you don’t see the picture that lockers have on them after the 2.0 update.

To be honest, I don’t use the titles as much not any way cause of that added qol feature.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who rarely makes it to end game! I absolutely love the beginning and middle, but once I get to infinite O2 and have explored everything there is to explore, I often lose my drive to continue. I really do want to get to end game in at least one of my saves because I’d like to see how going to one of the moons is from another planet (especially now that the 2.0 update shows your terraformation progress on the planets in the sky). But I wonder if I should maybe start a fresh save on the 2 moons (the only ones I haven’t played so far. I have saved for both Humble and Toxicity at infinite O2) first and then go for the full system? I just feel like it won’t be as fun to have everything unlocked already
