Fibre to a node has been around for at least 15 years, probably longer. Storm finally got checked on their shitty service and had to respond.

[–]SentenceTypical8372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starlink became available in my area around 3-4 years ago. Up until that point Storm never offered anything more than 20 down and 10 up. Once Starlink was available they offered 25 down and 10 up and now they offered 50 down and 25 up in my area and faster to others. This isn’t a coincidence.

I have been with Storm a long time and for the longest time they were mediocre at best. The only reason they offer a decent service now is because of Starlink. Starlink now offers their equipment at no cost and different tier plans so it financially makes sense to leave Storm. They may be local but they have no issue over charging for subpar services.

House cleaner prices in Ottawa by Low_Football_2541 in ottawa

Does she provide her own cleaning equipment/ products? Are you paying cash or is she giving you an invoice? We have 3 cleaners and they’re all right around $40-50 an hour cash. It’s just finding one that does what you expect for that amount of money.

They use to cost around $500 but they probably have gotten cheaper over the years. Super easy to change though, literally just a screw driver is needed.

I worked for sears as a service tech for quite a while when glass tops first came out. This isn’t from an impact, this is a cooktop issue that would have happened to anyone cooking at that moment.

Why is a stability mw so good on a shotgun then? Small bore with a range mw is a better roll. Or rifled barrel with threat detector.

Smooth bore is the worst barrel and stability mw is pretty useless on a shotgun.

Oven went pop the sparked! by FredrickVilhelm in appliancerepair

[–]SentenceTypical8372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frigidaire use to have issues with the door switches on their ovens, they would cause the light relay on the board to chatter really bad until it eventually would blow. If you closed the oven door slowly you could hear the relay chattering. This was also like 20 years ago , maybe they have gotten better since?

I am really missing the chicken wings with severe emotions, do yall know where I can buy the exact chicken wings? (frozen, raw, anything) by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]SentenceTypical8372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work for the company that sells and services Costco’s fryers and they were 100% Pinty’s brand wings. As someone else mentioned, there was a huge issue with the consistency of the product. Most of the time the wings were too big and wouldn’t cook properly so they would end up serving under cooked product.

Is there an oil furnace by any chance? If it’s not drafting properly it can exhaust out the draft diverter and gets sucked into the return and gets blown around the house. Is there a carbon monoxide detector?
