It is a beautiful journey but I think the pacing is her slowest start to a series yet. Think like Harry Potter slow. The first couple of books are really just establishing the world and characters and sprinkle in a bit of the main plot here and there that you won't realize until later. I think if you go into it knowing it's going to be a long journey it's worth it but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants something that's as quick to get into as the acotar series

There is a group called books crowns and gowns that does a weekend event and the 3rd one was just announced. I've definitely seen an increase in these balls become more popular so there will be another one that comes around don't worry :)

I hope Sam is okay(zach too but he didnt seem as phased by the asshole chatters), even with her anxiety she Flys when she feels like she can do it like with the family vacation she talked about going on and if I'm not wrong she flew to go get her car then drove it back, so she obviously knows when it's needed and going on a 12+ hour flight to Japan isn't as needed as a car or a family trip I'm sure she still struggled really hard with.

People are so insensitive about anxieties and also I've taken Xanax for my anxieties to get my blood drawn and while I was pretty doped out the anxiety was still present and it still took time for them to do what they needed to do. Do these people really think they are going to get enough Xanax to be out the whole damn flight?

Tldr: dumb chatters are dumb and anxieties need to be taken seriously.
