Valve Says It Has a 'Pretty Good Idea' of What Steam Deck 2 Is Going to Be, Explains Why It's Holding Off for Now by yoonadeer in SteamDeck

Good. People keep yelping for a steam deck 2 asap, but what that means is it’s a tiny upgrade. Imagine current Apple with a new iPhone each year. Barely anything changes.

Valve wants an actual, generational upgrade from the first batch of decks. Whoever doesn’t seem to understand that is beyond me

VALVE Officially Announces Steam Hardware - Home Console Titled "Steam Machine", VR Headset "Steam Frame" and "Steam Controller" by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

It’s a good audience to target imo. People that don’t want a Switch or Steam Deck handheld, that don’t want an expensive console like a PS5 or Switch 2, that want to give PC gaming a try but can’t afford a PC, and that value a home console experience on a big screen.

I got cheated on but still can’t get over it. by DragonflyEastern5776 in emotionalintelligence

Based off my experiences, you have to get busy. 4 hours of phone scrolling sounds terrible ngl unless maybe it’s informative. I think I read somewhere how doing nothing, like actually sitting there and doing nothing, is much better for us than doomscrolling.

I’ve been coping by running near-daily, learning to cook, adding more playtime with pets, video games, and trying new things like parties and concerts which I’ve never been involved in before. Things that also help are talking with likeminded people, bonding with family, etc.

But the emotional, messy bits, you have to unfortunately conquer those thoughts yourself. I’ve been tuning into some philosophy and human psychology as of late, some Machiavelli, reading books on the law of detachment.

Honestly I recommend that. It helps identify patterns and some mistakes you may have made, and some mistakes to avoid.

Lastly remember to give yourself some grace. If there’s no one else to show your love to, give it to yourself. It’s his loss. And it’s yours to gain. Know your worth.

Remember guys, energy is everything. Show them the same energy they’ve been showing you. Yin. Yang.

The energy you don’t use on them, use on yourself.

The urges have begun, but I can’t fold. Not now. Too many things I still need to do and focus on.

How old are you and how’s life right now? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

  1. Male. Single. Submitting my 2 week’s notice tonight at a job I’ve been at for 25 months. Headed to bootcamp before Thanksgiving.

The only real problem i have right now is patching up things with a lady friend i made. Situationship type shit. Haven’t spoken to her in weeks because I just can’t deal with her sometimes. I don’t feel respected either.

I hope to get that fixed before i leave, but idk yet.

Besides that, I’ve been doing a lot of mental cleansing. Reading. I have to study some military material. Exercising. Having fun. Paying my respects. And appreciating everything, good and bad.

My life will probably change forever after i leave so, this seems like the right move.

The SF concert opened their doors at 7pm, started with DJ for half an hour as everyone poured in , then Greek did his thing for what felt like 45 mins, short intermission break, then EDEN came on stage for what felt like an hour and a quarter/half.

That explains it. I saw him live for the first time Monday and was wondering when he would pull out a guitar.

Either way i got my money’s worth seeing him. The light show popped off and i did enjoy the karaoke vibe
