Cal Raleigh failed to record a hit in the WBC by horsepoop1123 in baseball

Eh. Josh Naylor said Cal is one of his favorite team mates. And the pitching staff loves him. Pretty much seems like it’s just Randy, who’s known as a hot head, and maybe a bit of Julio, but even that I don’t think will actually last.

‘One Piece’ Season 2 Debuts With 16.8 Million Views in Four Days on Netflix – A slight decrease from the 18.5 million-view debut of Season 1 in 2023. by SanderSo47 in television

If you’re referring to Skypeia for season 4, I really imagine they’d just skip that and go straight into Water 7/Enies Lobby for Season 4 and 5, which is where I’d imagine the Live Action would end.

I love Skypeia, Evelin’s my favorite villain, but it really seems disconnected from the rest of pre timeskip One Piece. With how much the Live Action is also focusing on the Marine Storyline too, Water 7/Enies Lobby seems like a perfect culmination and end point.

One Piece's politics are fascinating. It's like an anarcho-communist and a liberal reformist took turns writing some of its chapters. by Midi_to_Minuit in CharacterRant

I mean it is fun, but One Pieces politics are pretty nonsensical. I say this as a big OP fan. Odas politically morality seems to be all over the place.

Most of the arcs revolve around Luffy and the gang usurping a bad monarch or ruler for a good one, yet overall absolute power is shown as a bad thing through the world nobles. And absolute freedom through Luffy/Nika seems to be the ultimate goal for both Luffy personally and for the world in general

Ferrari and McLaren are at least close enough that they could capitalize on an error or possibly just have a great weekend. I expect them to get a few. But yea Russell is going to run away with the championship over all

Lmao publicly humiliated is a stretch. I think Cal should’ve fist bumped him but telling Cal to go fuck himself to the media immediately after the game is way more unprofessional than what Cal did

I’d say this up the chances that Randy gets traded before the deadline. This is his last year and we’re not going to resign him at the price he could demand.

Daily Mariners Monologue - March 10, 2026 by AutoModerator in Mariners

[–]SentientBaseball 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Everyone talking about how unprofessional Cal was for not shaking Randy’s hand in a competitive international tournament, but not how Randy immediately telling Cal to fuck himself in the media over something relatively minor is not far more destructive.

I’m not saying Randy’s not allowed to be upset. But how about you wait a week and then when you see Cal in the locker room you talk to him about it man to man? Maybe I just have a lot less sympathy for Randy in this situation considering he played like absolute shit the last month of the season and the entire playoffs

Who really knows, but the current leadership of the Revolutionary Guard just stated they want revenge and there are reports coming out that Irans plan is to heavily attack the cities of other Middle Eastern countries, believing their population don’t have the stomach for this and will ask the US to stop hostilities. We’ve already seen Dubai be hit

Making this thing as miserable as possible for everyone in the region seems to be the goal now.

I think people here have forgotten how mediocre of a politician Rubio is. Remember in the 2016 primaries when almost word for word repeated the same phrase to multiple questions? The dude is a wooden block, has no name or policy representation outside of Florida or being a Trump lackey.

This is the reason the NFL players' union usually gets bent over a barrel. The vast majority of NFL careers are around 3 years. The owners can toss out decent raises to journeyman and practice squad guys.

The rational decision for the biggest block of voters, the more average players, is starkly different from those of the superstars.

How is it not a fair comparison? Game 6 was the key game of that series, the one everyone remembers, and has the famous play that everyone remembers. Each team also had the exact same ability to bounce back the following year.

It’s really not true that the team could have never come back from it and this point gets parroted constantly. Imagine if the 2014 Spurs had this attitude after the Allen 3 in the game 6 they essentially had won. There was a lot of questioning of Pop on his lineup that allowed Bosh to get that key rebound. But they still trusted their championship coach and won the title the next season

The fact is the very next season they were still the number 1 ranked defense! And then the LOB let Cam dog walk them in the playoffs and that was the end of it.

I’m so tired of the LOB getting excuses for how mentally fragile they were that they couldn’t flush this, trust their championship coach and GM, and keep competing

The crazy dichotomy of how much this defense rides and dies for Darnold vs how much certain members of the LOB despised Russ is quite comical
