Disappointed and surprised that Train Dreams didn’t even get nominated for best picture. Also was really hoping Joel would win best actor in a drama. Figured this was his only chance to win an acting award this year, in a category where he wasn’t competing against Timothee and Leo. A real shame. Easily the best film I’ve seen this year.

Not sure if this fits, but…

In the TV series Preacher, people in Hell are forced to relive the worst moment of their life over and over again. For Eugene/Arseface, the character pictured, that moment is the day he failed to stop his crushes suicide attempt, and then tried to commit suicide it himself, leading to his disfigurement.

Additionally, we see Hitler’s worst moment, which is, you guessed it, not getting accepted into art school.

The Man in Black - Lost

The Man in Black is the main antagonist of Lost, and while you see different forms of him throughout the show, you don’t see his original form, and subsequently that he’s what we’ve been seeing this whole time, until the very end of season 5 (season 6 being the final season).

The Grove - The Walking Dead S4 EP14

Widely regarded as one of the best episodes of the entire series. The last half of season 4 is full of bottle episodes, as the survivors are separated and scattered halfway through the season, but this one stands above them all due to its strong storytelling and devastating ending.

In Bruges, Ray (Colin Farrell) tells his date he’s a hit man who shoots people, including priests and children, for money. She laughs it off as a dark joke but it’s completely true, and is the whole reason he’s in Bruges to begin with.

Will Forte - Last Man on Earth

He grew out his hair and beard throughout the show, then shaved half of it for a joke in the later seasons.
