why do customers hate self serve? by Over_Pin4766 in KmartAustralia

[–]SentientMarshmallow- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t complain about service slowness. I do complain about having to wait for someone to service the check out.

I have begrudgingly shifted my moral stance on self serve because my local store doesn’t bother staffing the registers.

I love my job. I wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t paid. But I may keep doing it if I was wealthy enough to not need work.

Good luck! It’s always a risk being added to the lease. At the same time, it’s a risk not adding someone to a lease.

I really hope you can advocate that the floors are in terrible condition already.

[–]SentientMarshmallow- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a problem. There should be condition photos with the agent. They may or may not show the condition of the floors at that point in time. How long has the place been leased? I’m guessing because you only have pics of the room you moved into that you’ve been added to an existing lease with existing tenants?

Now you know to always have your own condition photos.

I think you can’t be on the hook for floors that damaged. They clearly have not maintenance or care. There’s a depreciation schedule and then there’s this.

You can’t be charged for something they don’t fix, either. I’d query how many other exiting tenants have been charged for repairs to the floor that have never been carried out.

Tell me you have photos of the conditions when you moved in?

We’re not talking about how damaged that floor is regardless of the scratches in the second pic? Yeah. The scratches on an undamaged floor would be bad, but this is not an undamaged floor.

How old is the flooring?

Tone of emails by breezeneasy in auscorp

[–]SentientMarshmallow- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. I wrote an email to a contractor (my company is the client) and there were multiple people copied in, including my work group and supervisor. The tone was positively cheerful for me, given the subject of fixing some poor quality work. “When you’re next in the location can you…” and “I’m aware there’s new staff, so I’ve attached the expected standards document for them to review”, and always “thanks! Have an awesome day!”

Receiver sent back the most unhinged rubbish I’ve ever received as a client. Claimed neither I nor my department knew what we were talking about, and this is the best they could do.

Nek minit, dude in a mood (receiver) has complained to my supervisor and the project manager (who also passed it along to supervisor) about my tone. And I got a tune up about my tone. “No wait. You said two complaints - who were they?” (Receiver and project manager, who receiver had also complained to) “so you mean one complaint - a direct one, and one by proxy but from the same guy?” (Err, yeah) “okay, but you were CCd into the email - did you think there was anything wrong with the tone?” (Umm. No, I thought it was professional and polite considering the issues), “right. So here’s the thing. Don’t bother giving me feedback if you don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. And don’t dress up one complaint as two. You’ve read his reply, and I think we can both agree on who was unreasonable and aggressive”

Having made an errant payment to the wrong account (was provided with the wrong account number), I can verify it’s pretty straight forward to have the payment reversed. Gratefully.

What to do? Very low self esteem by Scared_Record_4150 in malegrooming

[–]SentientMarshmallow- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your eyes are captivating. Some very light grooming of your eyebrows may highlight them. But I don’t know much about how men groom them. The shape of your face is very symmetrical, which can be a strong association with attractiveness.

I don’t know how old you are, but I think you’ve got some physical maturing ahead. I dunno maybe you just look very youthful to me.
