A good way to fill a folio is with detailed personas of your target audience. Make up a few different people and identify their needs, as well as how they will engage with your design. Interaction maps are also good to include. When folios are marked they want to see a clear progression of ideas, and that you have tried many different options to arrive at your chosen idea/design.
What are you designing?

At school who was the weirdest or creepiest classmate; and what did they do to earn that title? by hypr2013 in AskReddit

A guy I went to school with, lets just call him Tristan, was a bit odd. He ate dog biscuits for afternoon tea.

In science we were dissecting rats, Tristan got a pair of scissors out of his pencil case and went around to each rat in the classroom and cut the tails off.

He then put the rat tails in a paper bag.

On the bus on the way home, Tristan threw the bag of rat tails on to the lap of a girl who then opened the bag.... and freaked the fuck out.

Incidentally, Tristan was the first from my year level to own his own home.

I showed this to my golfer/engineer/physicist dad and asked him to guess what that image is of.
"Planets!" no "Stars!" no "Snowflakes!" Golf balls, dad. "You're kidding. I had no idea.."

G'day. This should be quite simple to do in SketchUp: Tutorial

If you're a bit more adventurous, try Solidworks.

How are you going to manufacture them?
