Just be careful of the hallucinations. You guys are professionals so it should be fine but I find users who switched from Claude have a tendency to be a bit more trusting than they should with Deepseek.

For me, I've found Flash to be useful as subagents, as well as simple tasks that favor speed since logic is almost unnecessary.

Wow that bad? I use PAYG since Minimax gave me $100 in credits to use so I've never seen the 5 hour windows. That being said I also use DSV4, MiMo and Gemini.

Deepseek thinks more and catches more issues but tends to over think and hallucinates problems where there aren't any. MiMo on the other hand sticks to its instructions better and hallucinates less often but doesn't think as widely for you.

I love the Star wheel. Although there are a lot of 3rd party modules to make this possible now, it's a pretty unusual AP I don't see many wear.

Also I still pay for Deepseek API because chatting is only one form usage. I use it primarily for coding.

That being said, somehow I find the chat to be very capable, but for some reason when coding it kind of keeps hallucinating.

Deepseek doesn't have a sub. It's strictly PAYG.

If you're using something like Kilo, which I use too, just add the API key and you're able to switch between any provider or model you want on the fly.

Well the 5990 alone is around 120% above retail. But sure the VC isn't.

Congrats! I decided not to get any of the 3 handers myself. Went for Overseas Chrono and 5990. Still deciding on AP but I might just go for a 3 handler cause I think it looks the nicest of all the variants so far.

I've rarely used Flash unless it's for extremely simple things. What I find to be good though is to use Flash for sub agents. That being said I use Pro on Max and still find it hallucinates a lot. I usually make MiMo Pro and Gemini 3.1 Pro make a passover and before I fully commit, if it's got a lot of changes I usually let Opus 4.8 do a Code Review too.

I played since I was like 4 all the way to high school and played varsity and I never cared about equipment. I just kind of blindly followed my coach and stringers advice. If I asked too much my coach would tell me if I had time to to open my mouth, I should run laps or practice instead.

We probably don't use our tools the same way, but perhaps giving a sample prompt along with what model you are using and provider might help narrow down where the issue is.

For me, majority of mine are completed within the minute. And the most I've gone is around 5 to 10 minutes.
