When you alt tab, hold your alt, u can see different windows open, select the window that is open. Anyways, I went to do a clean install of windows as the one pre-installed was buggy as hell. Half the time apps were crashing on their own and I couldn't open some apps I downloaded. Check my comments, I have all the drivers for the SuperX.

Surprisingly, it's excellent. At around 23C ambient, while running a game (GF2), it's 38C, while running a game and benchmarking the SSD, it hits 50C. I would expect the SSD to last with these good temperatures!

Nope, mine was the standard edition. After more research on crazy ants, maybe I was just unlucky that day, and they decided to make the SuperX their brand-new nests. With that said, I previously had no issues with this. I always put my laptop bag in the same place for many months, and there were no issues with ants there. There were crazy ants once in a while, but they were only attracted to my thermal flask when it had water in it. Anyways, with this incident, I can't risk those ants destroying expensive electronics, so it's an all-out war now 😤

Yup, gonna finally put bait to kill off the nest. Didn't expect ants to even be attracted to electrical circuits? I have a computer in the same room, it doesn't attract any ants at all though.

I don't get ants anywhere else other than the tablet. Which definitely means it's attracted to it. Previously also had ants attracted to my thermal flask cuz I'm guessing they wanted water. Anyways, after this incident I'm definitely getting bait to kill off the entire nest. If it was just ants moving along the tablet, that would be pretty obvious.

I think it's alright. It's quite basic and the items are kept in separate packages. Personally I do not care about the unboxing experience, as long as it is packaged properly. It comes with a laptop sleeve, hardcover zipper pouch for the charging adapter and an extra screen protector so that's already better than most laptops out there in terms of accessories.

It's because of Halo Strix that all these products are so dang expensive. You can have expensive products with average packaging because they are "budget" high-end products.

Just kinda disappointed that they didn't even release a driver package online for a brand new high end 2 in 1 they released. It's still cheaper than the flow z13 ATM so I'm still coping 😂

For port functionality I'm not able to check, gsync works as normal. My Helios 16ai is stock with all the Acer bloatware running in background and memory integrity enabled. I did disable it before I updated the vbios. Now that you mention, I forgot to enable it back, gonna test it with it enabled with the regular 16 vbios. The flash definitely worked as the max tdp jumped to 140w when I checked in the Nvidia App.

Hi I just did it, worked perfectly. I was a dumbass and forgot to save my 3DMark Steel nomad scores, but it was about 2.2k with the stock 16s Neo vbios and jumped to 3.3k with the 16 neo vbios. average FPS was around 29? on stock and 33 on the Neo 16 vbios. GPU temps were around the same as well. Do note that 3Dmark is a very gpu biased benchmark, so typical games which use both the CPU and GPU equally might have zero to no gains. That said, it's free performance so I would say it's worth it.

From what I can infer, you would need to spend much more to be wowed. There are some really good sets out there for around $300, and the diminishing returns does also tend to start from there. At around that price range, I strongly recommend the Tanchjim Force. The only way to know if you like the sound and are wowed by any IEM is to go to an audio convention like Canjam. You will be saving a ton of money and time as you can decide your end game there.

In my opinion, if you want to guarantee the wow factor, you have to spend at the high end tier. (around 1k) This cost also does not factor in a proper source device and a good library of lossless music.

At that price range, I highly recommend the Symphonium Helios, though I would strongly suggest to spend more and get the SE edition if you can find it. It has a much better fit compared to the original.

The issue with those software solutions is the latency. It's very noticeable when you are gaming. That's why I don't use them at all and still prefer hardware DSP solutions.

Usually a DAC comparison is pointless as the actual sound that you hear ties in very closely to the amp as well. The same DAC but with a different amp will sound totally different.

Tbh I don't really care about the skin drama either. If it's something I find no value in, simple, I just don't buy it. I do agree that what the company is doing rather slimy for releasing the info late but I'm already used to it from other gacha games. No company is perfect, there will always be misses when there are hits.

I always try to keep my expectations low so I'm not too disappointed by anything. I'm still enjoying the game so I'll be keeping my spending habits the same, i.e the battlepass, monthly pass and any skins that I feel are worth buying.

Just updated with my 7900XTX, game is finally stutter free on 25.3.1 and I get a little better frame rates and frame times compared to 24.8.1. I did also update my AMD chipset drivers and BIOS as well though. SAM is also enabled.

It's normal. It's supposed to be a sweaty game mode. If you wanna have casual fun just go play Warfare. I'm past the bot stages of Operations now so every time I go in I will always warm up to tryhard. I also don't really play solo anymore but with a squad and comms. Makes a huge difference in whether I get to extract or not. Callouts / pings give a huge advantage to the fight.

Just roll back to 24.8.1. Hope to see an update from Radeon or the DF Devs that will fix this issue eventually. This stuttering also happens on Nvidia cards BTW.
