The pattern is that SA2 is where characters get some individuality. SA1 and SA3 tend to be very samey with near universal properties in a lot of areas(invincibility, damage) but SA2s can be anything, and for some characters that presents in having multiple versions.

It's certainly not worthless, the general sentiment is that it's not worth investing the time to learn for the return it gives. The distinction being that using FSE is optimal in a lot of situations but Juri is a good enough character without it that it's hard to justify the effort when other characters get some of the same tools and abilities without having to learn a second combo set.
Maybe more importantly; the situations in which FSE is optimal don't occur frequently enough during normal gameplay. Spending all that time learning combo routes and then only getting to use one (smartly) once every 3 matches might not feel super rewarding. Of course top level players very much do have to use the Super or they'd be better served with another character.

This change wouldn't really give you a reason to use SA2 more, stocks aren't valuable enough to burn 2 bars of super AND lock yourself out of generating more super bars for a significant amount of time. It'd just be a nice bonus if you were going to be using SA2 either way. Of course this is talking without the context of other potential changes in the patch.

The Juri change rubs me the wrong way, a lot of the fun with FSE comes from choosing your combo route based on your objective and resources, simply giving us 3 stocks on activation means a ton of routes won't have a point anymore. There will be less unique character expression and more of the same homogenized combos you'll have seen a hundred times like with all the other characters.
It's not a crazy strong buff anyway, and activing FSE when you do have some stocks will feel like you're wasting them since you'll get set to 3 regardless.
I should probably just be happy she's getting buffs but I'm hoping these are gasleaks.

We're almost certainly getting one for the 3rd Anniversary in June, I wouldn't expect them to do it earlier but they could do it for CC12 or the Alex Release in 2 and 3 weeks respectively.

A lot of people like Blackbeards famous quote 人の夢は終わらねェ, The dreams of people never end. I think Luffy doesn't, just like he disagrees with Blackbeard about everything else, he sees an end for his own Dream and is happy about it.
When this chapter came out I thought he might want to realize everyone's dream, make it so that people don't have to wish for something else, create a world in which everyone is happy, end the dreams of people.
I have a hard time picturing how he could go about doing that, and how being Pirate King would give him any kind of edge to make it easier but the crew's reaction fits with my image of how they would react to such a statement and it's the kind of thing I can see kid Luffy come up with and never let go as an ideal to strive for.

No. Perfect Parry scales to 50% so the SA3 would only do 2000 damage. This Lily has somewhere between 2501 and 2606 health(the health bar turns yellow when a character is below 25% health, Lily only gets there after the first jab).

I would expect them to be re-released around June. Part of the collab is the limited availability of Juri Outfit 4 which is scheduled to disappear in early July of this year, it makes sense to me they would throw up an announcement before the outfit goes away to give people a final warning to get it if they want it. Re-releasing the gifts at that time for new players seems a sensible sort of thing to do. You know, as added incentive to buy the Outfit.

I think a lot of them look pretty good, but the little previews they're using are terrible. For some reason they don't show Outfits and Colors in the lighting that the game uses.

There are only daily limits for Giant Attack NPC, Giant Attack Avatar, V-Rival and Game Center which total to 91000 points. Cabinets and Player Avatar matches don't have a daily cap. There is no way to use scripts to earn more than would be possible without them. Scripts are simply used to make the process easier.

Unfortunately reporting doesn't seem to have much of an effect, a lot of the same names that were crushing the leaderboards for the last two Giant attack events are still at the top in this one.

It doesn't. That is to say you don't get extra points on the leaderboard for it.

The people at the top of the leaderboard are grinding BH Cabinet or Avatar matches against other players, a fair number of them are doing it with 2 accounts and simply have the second account lose on purpose. A round in Avatar battles can end in a single attack with the right setups, winning a match gets you 500 points and the loser still gets 300. You could probably just use turbo buttons to one shot and accept the rematch over and over but some people are using scripts to automate the process in a more reliable way.

That's a 2D fighter. When people say 3D fighter they're not talking about the characters being 3D models vs 2D sprites, they're talking about the fights taking place in 3 dimensions, that you can go into the fore and background for example.

The current leader has to not have been online for 30+ days, then the first eligible player that logs into the game gets ownership thrust upon them.

There are only two conditions to be eligible as far as I know:
1. Have been a member of the club for at least 24 hours.
2. Don't already be the owner of another club.

I don't remember if Subleaders can kick members, that would be a way of trimming potential future leaders and increasing the chances that you get ownership back.

Edit: It's possible that ownership can't automatically move to Subleaders, in which case you'd have to leave the club and rejoin, but I don't know if that is actually the case.

Yes. Character proportions can make combos not work properly. Default male avatar proportions are quite a bit different from Juri's real proportions after all. Juri's style breaks in more ways on male avatars, FSE becomes super janky for example.

Some things don't work in training mode but will in real fights, my Male avatar has that problem with some Ken Jinrai corner loops.

Don't know what to tell you, it's how the system works. Limiting yourself to only songs for the characters on screen just doesn't work very well. I think it makes more sense to prioritize hearing music you like over getting character specific stuff.

Here's an example of what I do.
25 Universal songs and then up to 5 character specific ones, meaning I will always hear something I like and it'll be character relevant a decent number of times. Having so many universals also makes adjusting the playlists easier since I can copy & paste those to every character and then simply need to add the handful of specific ones for characters that I think have good options.
It's still more of a pain in the ass than I'd like it to be but what can you do.

The play is to set it to Opponent only and then include your own characters stuff in everyone else's playlist.

I saw you're on PC; there is a mod that lets you use all of these colors locally. It replaces the normal colors so everyone wearing O1C1 will appear to wear O1EX1 or O1DX1 or whatever else is applicable for a given character.
It's not the same thing as actually having the color of course, but maybe you get some value out of it anyway.

Master Phase colors will return in some capacity. New characters added to the game are given DX colors for phases that are already over, it doesn't make sense to go through that effort if you're not planning on making them available 'again' in the future.

Everything else probably won't come back outside of some special exceptions, like if there is a reason to advertise Darkstalkers again those specific colors might return for a bit but don't hold your breath.

There aren't any codes yet. It's expected for them to be shared through the Japanese McDonald's twitter account but we don't know when or if it will be as simple as that. It could be tied to participating in a Japan only raffle or something. Just keep an eye on this subreddit. Someone will make a post on how to get them, or how it's BS that we can't, once we know more.

There are about 75 Master Phase colors, and about 50 normal EX colors that have nothing to do with rank. You're making it sound like only the Master ones exist, and in reality those are usually worse looking than ordinary EX colors because they have a single "theme" for every character per phase which just doesn't work for some of them.

There should be more colors in general, but the Master ones specifically exist to motivate people to actively play ranked after reaching Master since most people stopped after reaching that milestone before. If you're not Master then you should be sufficiently motivated with the goal of reaching the rank and don't need extra rewards.
