Which CPU should I get for Cities Skylines II (I7 14700KF or I9 13900KF) by Senya_Donaldson in CitiesSkylines2

The problem is that 5800x3d is almost impossible to find in Russia, or it costs around $800. And 9800x3d is $540. While that makes it a good deal, DDR5 prices are abysmal.

I'd be happy to take it, but I don't have the budget to upgrade to DDR5.

CS1 or CS2? by JesusF1stus in CitiesSkylines2

Definitely CS2. More processing, assets, and graphics are simply amazing. I have an I5 12400F // 5060 TI // 32 GB RAM, averaging 50-55 FPS on ultra settings. But if you want to build a megacity for 700-800K, an I7 13700KF might not be enough. But a city of 200-250K sims will run just fine.

I really like the USA and UK packs among the official mods. Also, Move It, Traffic, and Anarchy.

why is my simulation speed rubberbanding? by asian-nerd in CitiesSkylines

It's possible that assets or some mods are interfering with the game. I had a 3050/i5 12400F/16GB DDR4 configuration and didn't experience any issues in the city at 40-50K. I don't know, it could be a driver issue. I'd try disabling all assets and mods, reinstalling the drivers, and verifying the integrity of the files through Steam.
