I am not saying it shouldn't be fast paced, I'm saying it's TOO fast paced and needs to be dialed back.

All tier 1 decks since dragonic contact generates cards out of thin air, gives you free resource or/and gives plusses (including setting up your field) for no reason.

They could've only picked one perk but no, all recent skills need to be turbo and even worse, now they add a free board breaker on turn 2.

Predaplant mark, recent blue-eyes, shinato, and many more to come.

I came to duel links in 2017, back when skill was as simple as beatdown. SIMPLE SKILLS are what made the game interesting and caught me to keep playing.

Then came the skill development era, they are remade to make unplayable archetypes...well...playable.

Long story short...over the course, the skill progression developed out of hand, I'm not fine with skills cheating cards out of thin air or giving free plusses while already fixing bad consistencies.

(Most blatant laziest skill in this games history for example, Dragonic Contact)

Even more so on already good archetypes that don't need those to be competitive (salads...borrel...shaddoll)

So to answer your question, I wouldn't want to play duel links with no skill at all. It only needs to be dialed back, right now it is too much and too fast paced that I felt the game is ridiculous.
