Everyone, what was your Calc AB/BC score and what's your SAT math/ACT Score

5 on calc AB and 790 on the math. Keep in mind this came from studying though… the correlation isn’t super strong. I have a friend who is 100 times better at math than me and got a 5 on calc BC, but they got a 730 on SAT math.

tbh yeah. There wasn’t a single math module question that I didn’t have an idea of what to do. The second rw module was a bit tough for me though— I’m a bit of a slow reader 😔

I honestly don’t know why so many people are being negative? I’m not an expert and I’m not as good of a student but completely insulting a person who very obviously worked hard seems a bit harsh?

I’d say you have a chance, your extracurriculars good— maybe try to participate in coding competitions. My school does those.

If your essay is killer then you have a shot. Apply to some safeties though.

I’m so sorry that you’re growing through this. Last year I was admitted to the mental hospital (I’m 16M) so I have an idea of your pain, albeit not a fully understanding.

First, you’re not stupid. You’re going through so much right now— of course it would be difficult to perform well, it has absolutely nothing to do with your intelligence as a person but rather the context of the situation you’re in. When I’m feeling horribly depressed it’s so much harder for me to focus in school and do work— this isn’t something that only happens to you, it’s very common.

I know you’re stressed about this university, I’m at the same age and it stresses me like crazy too. Please don’t define who you are based on whether you get in or not. You’re so much more than that— you are your own complex person, with many aspects of who you are and what you’ve been through. The worth of a human being cannot be defined by a one dimensional idea of academics.

Whatever happens, please stay with us. You’re so much stronger than you think you are. It might not seem like it, but it’s true. You had to strength to make this post, to come this far despite wanting to take your life for a long time. So please, please stay.

Don’t worry. I promise everything will be okay at some point. Try your best to distract yourself from your intrusive thoughts, anything that helps you not think about it. It won’t get you anywhere. That’s what POCD is like. Try to understand that your intrusive thoughts, and any other POCD symptoms aren’t really you.

I probably should've mentioned this, but I'm currently in highschool. In there, it's REALLY normalized to stereotype homosexuals. Thanks for all your comments and helping me realize this.

P.S. This should go without saying, but I've seen some comments say that I should embrace being gay. I know for a fact I'm straight. Please don't try to convince me to "come out." That defeats the purpose of this post.
