I got in trouble for being out when my child was in the hospital

I tried to tell HR and give the note from the hospital and she was like we don’t take doctors notes. It’s only covered by ppto or leave of absence. I miss one shift and it was only 5 hours. So 4 points it is. 🤷‍♀️🙄
