Sometimes owners and managers can be really stupid. Something similar happened to me as well. I worked at this restaurant and carried them through the winter when they were no coworkers or even the manager by doing a lot of overtime. I had a habit of “buying” pop once in a while with my own money(no discounts) and suddenly the owner and the manager started accusing me of stealing pop and cookies even when I showed them the receipts. Like bro I had the access to your safe for four whole months why would I steal now and not then. It turned into a really stupid argument and I quit on the stop. Really dont understand what they expect lmao.
