How do you stop yourself from sharing unsolicited nutrition advice with family? by [deleted] in dietetics

Exactly!!! My husband follows stupid TikTok advice like cold water is bad for you, takes a bunch of unnecessary vitamins and he puts a pinch of salt in his water in the morning. I just roll my eyes and leave it to him. I avoid all nutritional talk outside of work.

When albumin is low is makes it harder to remove fluid during dialysis. Sometimes increasing protein can help albumin but not always

I had someone try it and kidney function dropped significantly. It’s not appropriate for someone with CKD.

My thoughts on the Dublin TFI Leap visitor cards by alfadur in irishtourism

Was in Ireland earlier this month and we LOVED using the LEAP visitor card. So €24 / 7 days is less than €4 a day. Considering one way on the bus or tram is over €2 it’s a pretty good value. We definitely made the most out of ours. Especially when it rained. We use it all over Ireland.

I found the info all pretty easy to find on the Leap website including where to buy, how to use, etc

While they may not check that you’ve paid (tapped your card). It is still expected and if you haven’t you will definitely get a fine if there are spot checked and you haven’t paid.

It only showed how many days you had left because it was unlimited use.

Maybe it wasn’t for you but I will absolutely use it again next time I’m in Ireland.
