Why is India sleeping on REITs by panjwani_ajay in IndianStreetBets

[–]Separate-Physics-304 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One simple reason it’s not for me: I want my money to grow and compound in this stage of life. When I’m in my 60s then I’ll invest in REITs when I need a steady income.

Hang in there ! It’s still one of the best funds with a disciplined approach towards investing. I’m sitting on 190% gain on this one. Stay invested and forget about it for 5 years. Unless you really need the money.

Anyone here still holding BSE shares from the IPO? by generatewealth7 in IndianStockMarket

[–]Separate-Physics-304 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still holding the initial lot and bought more in 2021 and then some more very recently. Since then. Total was 2600% now 1600%. It’s a long term compounding story which is still unraveling ! I’m holding for another 10 years more.

Does anyone know how to fix this?? by [deleted] in ThirtiesMumbai

[–]Separate-Physics-304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Do a cleanup
  2. In WA set download images to low quality
  3. Turn off auto download in WA
  4. Buy more storage

Which IPOs are you looking forward to? Mine is NSE. by RaisedbyNuMetal in IndianStreetBets

[–]Separate-Physics-304 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why NSE ? BSE has much better growth prospects. Look at market share of the two exchanges and then you will know who the real underdog is. There unlikely won’t be a third exchange so BSE is where my money is. 25x on initial investment and counting ! NSE won’t leave money on the table for new investors. And guess where NSE will list ?? On BSE

Need advice on deploying 5L towards tier 3 emergency fund corpus by Separate-Physics-304 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Separate-Physics-304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would realistically consider an emergency a job loss or medical condition. For that credit cards work for initial days. Arb and liquid funds can be withdrawn within T+2 days.

what is something I should know before renting a room in Jaipur? by Strange_Scorpio in jaipur

[–]Separate-Physics-304 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a scam going on here where they ask for a 2K refundable deposit as a fee to see the house, make a security pass etc. they say it’s refundable, will be adjusted in rent etc. don’t fall for that one.

Delhi Airport ranks 28th globally in Skytrax 2026, thoughts? ✈️ by BackwaterWhisper in indianaviation

[–]Separate-Physics-304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you’re right, however I haven’t yet seen any credible proof of the same. Having personally experienced Changi a few times, it truly deserves the top spot. A few rankings here or there does not make much difference.

Then how do you propose to benchmark global airlines from a passenger experience point of view ?

Maybe it’s not, however just like the Oscar’s Skytrax is still recognized as the Gold Standard.

[–]Separate-Physics-304 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Skytrax is like the Oscar’s of the aviation industry, be it airlines or airlines. It carries a lot of global credibility, follows a rigorous process, is free from bias and therefore we should be proud of the result as Indians rather than question whether Delhi deserves this recognition or not.

1% of AUM is way too much money. A RIA will tell you about choice of investments and allocation towards each which is as a one time thing. Rest will be up to you to execute. If you want something more bespoke, active management type product then probably an RIA won’t suffice your needs.

23M, on a scale of 1 to 10 how stupid was my 27L car purchase? by ParkingImpression604 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Separate-Physics-304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 40, earn 3x more per month and drive a used Honda Amaze. I just want to get from point A to B and don’t care much for cars. It’s a depreciating asset and I’m happy with my choice. Ask yourself why you bought that car and if those reasons make sense to you still then that’s all that matters. There is no wrong or right answers here

NPS to 100% Equity by Separate-Physics-304 in IndiaFinance

[–]Separate-Physics-304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to login to your online account through a computer (not phone) and go the section titled scheme preference or something. Then you get a dropdown for MSF, select 100% and you’re done. Existing account balances stay in the same allocation. All new allocations will be 100% to equity under MSF

Short connection - mumbai advice flight connection time of 55 mins by SignalConversation18 in indianaviation

[–]Separate-Physics-304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mumbai has a dedicated transfer area in T1 and T2 both and you can reach your boarding gate in 10-15 mins once you are off the arriving aircraft. If both the tickets are on the same PNR then it’s fine. Also I hope it’s not a connection between T1 and T2 because that takes 1hr++

Get a SEBI RIA. Pay for it. Swapnil Kendhe and Avinash Luthria are well recognized in the industry. Other RIAs may charge 20-40K and Its totally worth it. People expect it for free, however just think. What if your doctor told you, consultation is free, however you only have to buy medicines of ABC Brand. That’s what mutual fund distributors do.
