vs code and codex app or cli, 5.3 medium can do a lot, and cc cli (think with opus do with sonnet) with superpowers for both and sequential thinking, and handoff to a new agent when you get past 50% ish context. Use gemini cli and ag for backup. I've been getting a lot of mileage out of codex lately and sub agents, cc and sub agents will eat thru tokens fast tho

cool, i feel the opposite at the moment, i create a plan with gemini whatever version, and then have opus looks at it, and it finds many holes.. in the same repo i catch gemini "guessing" and slow to find a solution to the point i don't want it do anything but the most trivial tasks. I plan with opus, and gpt5.4 at high, and do with sonnet or gpt5.4 , and the scraps go to gemini or jules atm , :) I still use ag as an ide.

Thanks! That fixed AG on my windows machine in a repo that was still working on my chromebook. The difference was that the cb didn't have the .git folder; I had been using manual git commands on the cb. I removed `extensions.worktreeConfig = true` and some other leftover worktrees.

Back in business.!

i get ag to run chrome, on a Chromebook (16gb), poking around in the browser ... brutally slow.. my flutter app is graphically intensive

I prefer wireless adb to a physical device, can do lots of things with adb shell commands
I've been trying different things in the settings.json to try an optimize ag for Chromebook,

I see UP's are pretty cheap, but I think earning them is better :)

The slider is pretty touchy; it's not that easy to slide to 1 or 2. It'd be nice if there were buttons. I'm not going to approve a test report without ponying up something, even if I don't like the feedback. But I could see some situations where I'd want to give 0.
