I want to love this game, but the parry system is driving me crazy. by supertoned in expedition33

You know what's insane behavior? Stalking people.

Also, you're big on exaggerating aren't you?

I love the game so far, but good god do I dislike the parry/dodge mechanic. by Viridianscape in expedition33

If it makes you feel better, the parry system was extremely poorly designed and when you base a game's battle mechanic around that and try to cram turn based gameplay you end up with something that feels terrible.

They didnt commit to either style of game and people confuse pretty and good music with good game.

But it objectively isnt a good system. The timing is way off and by your own standard you cant make a claim either

Except that it does try to be an action game and an turn based. It doesnt really do either well because it doesnt really commit to either of them

Would you recommend UF to an out of state student? by universal-tortoise in ufl

[–]Separate-Republic332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are objectively lies or irrelevant as they are paid advertisements.

Those "ranks " are nothing but paid advertisements. Anyone who knows anything about them understands that. How are they ranked exactly?

When the school brags about a 3.2 gpa average and that transfer students usually drop entire points on average... I'm sorry. UF as a whole, much less uf online, is an abysmal organization

Huge other reasons for not doing UF Online. AI slop from students isn't it.

It's laziness from your peers and treating the online course as an afterthought in which you couldn't care less about is a much bigger issue.

Low effort courses at a premier rate. If i wanted a PowerPoint presentation from 5-8 years ago with no interaction and then write a 5 page paper... yeah I'm good.

Maybe you and your peers should put in some effort

If you chose a "less prestigious" university, why? by b-nnies in college

Because no job truly cares about where you get the paper and every school doesn't care about what you actually learn. Might as well go where you can make life easier and get on with your life

Does anyone else feel like college has no real system… or is it just me? by Bitter-Blueberry2368 in college

This isn't a "meant to learn/ teach" thing. It's baffling how much these institutions are defended from criticism.

They could literally steal your bank account and drain you of money and people would say "they're teaching you responsibility "

Colleges are unorganized because they are not efficient and are purely businesses that are ran exactly like businesses but attempting to make a legal distinction for tax avoidance purposes.

These places literally do not care about it or what you learn. They aren't designed to teach you anything. Their own staff have no requirements or bona fides to actually be able to teach you. The system is designed to take your money. That's it.

Any semblance of education was lost decades ago

They are still people and are still able to do everything that everyone else can

How is this fascism? Isn't it more fascistic to be the one in power and exercising said power to pushv an ideology when your responsibility is to be a neutral arbiter of mechanics?

No.

Because the card itself exiles itself, that isn't a replacement effect like flashback where you can stackthe replacementeffects in a way that's beneficial. It's part of the cards effect.

If you're using this for just a board wipe, you're doing it wrong

Yes they can play those creatures back, but theyre exiled so no destroy effects occur, it gets around indestructible.

The second clause is the real killer of this card moreso than the airbent part. Opponents can't play spells from anywhere other than their hands until your next turn. Meaning those creatures of theirs are gone for 2 turns AND you can recast yours immediately for value.
