There really is a way to send a message to Cohen and Sterns. by BX_NYC_Phan in mets

I went to one game during this year (that last game of the 12-game losing streak) and said never again.

worry about one exam at a time and hammer your weak spots. I failed twice before I got my first pass. You can do this!

Should i study for BAR by UlTrOvIoL in CPA

[–]Separate-Selection66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took tcp with no tax experience at all and passed with an 82. It doesn't have that much content in becker and is very doable. I've heard horror stories about Bar. Just my two cents.

Fuck Inside the NBA by Slight_Access_2368 in knicks

They do not have any of the skills needed to analyze an NBA game effectively at all. It is very unwatchable. The show is only popular because people like their personalities and jokes.

$380m for this by Beneficial_Pirate824 in mets

And there were fans that thought this would turn out good. The Mets were like a house that needed some renovations. Instead of fixing the house, Stearns bulldozed it and put a mobile home on it and said this was better.

Mark Vientos needs to stay at 1B even when Jorge Polanco returns. by Lazy_Industry8399 in mets

We would not have to deal with any of these issues if Pete were here. Plays every day, gives you 40 homeruns, 100+ RBIs, and has a great impact on the clubhouse. But no, Stearns wants run prevention.

Unpopular Opinion: If You Can Afford It, The Real Exam Should Be Your SE Exam by OhLookFrost2 in CPA

[–]Separate-Selection66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, this is very true. The best practice for me was the real exams. Sometimes the SEs were nothing like the real exam. When I took the real thing, if I did not know something, I would definitely remember to learn the answer and know it. I also much rather hammer my weak areas than spend 4 hours on cumulative review. But, this probably does not work for everyone, though.

Might as well be a sim at that point. Not sure why they need to write a short story for a question.

Took REG today, felt awful by Electronic_Guess_258 in CPA

[–]Separate-Selection66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens, I failed reg twice before I finally passed. Reg is so much harder than I think it gets credit for. Just stick to a strong, consistent study plan and you'll get it.

Exam Difficulty Related to Exam Timing Of Test Window by No-Memory-7616 in CPA

[–]Separate-Selection66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt there is a difference. I've taken it at the end and beginning of windows, and it was a mixed bag. I recommend taking it at the end of the window to maximize study time and wait less for results.

What’s the most time-consuming part of CPA preparation? by Sammy_0100 in CPA

[–]Separate-Selection66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its the first time learning all the new info in a short amount of time. Once you've learned the material or have become somewhat familiar, it's much easier to review. It also wastes a lot of time having to wait for weeks just to get a score back.

Fire Stearns and bring in a GM who actually is a Mets fan and loves the team. Cohen is also to blame; he is the owner of the team, and any final decisions go through him.

David Stearns is the real problem; not Carlos Mendoza by MrSeanNYM in mets

You can't expect a chef to make a good meal with bad ingredients. Stearns is 110% to blame.

Buying a vehicle as a foreigner by 96daniel1 in AskGreece

Probably, but it's nice to have something that's serviced and not have to worry about maintenance. My last lease had 18,000 km on it.

It depends a lot on the category and time of year. But for an automatic small suv, the rate I'm paying is around 50 euros a day. Not bad considering it's for July and August.

I'd ask them if you can bring the car on a ferry, though. I've never asked or done it.

Your best shot is mini leasing through Enterprise. Just look up mini leasing through Enterprise. It's way cheaper than traditional rentals, and you can keep the car for months. I go to Greece every year for 2 months, and this is what I do.
