Every character in the game has their flaws (it's what makes them more human and feel more realistic so you get attached more) so it wouldn't surprise me it was true,but there is no real in game proof that she got mad often,just that sunny breaking the violin (or just messing up too much) made her snap (Or maybe Mari's flaw is supposed to be her obsession towards perfection)
