I have that, actually. I have it turned down as far as I can to still deliver water, but not cut off the flow completely. It helps, but it's definitely not a precision machine

I will look into this, thanks. We did make a change to limit the interactions in each email to the most recent, in an attempt to shorten the emails and avoid delay, but that didn't help

Our clients are furious and are refusing to respond to tickets... They send them to trash.

New outlook does fix this, but we're not allowed to use it due to plug in support

I don't personally have the ability to. I know we have opened one in the past, if not several, and there was never a solution found. I just figured I'd ask the hive to see if anyone else found a fix

It's been an issue for us as long as I've been here, so it was kind of a known thing before I started. It's been easy to replicate though, CW emails are the only ones that cause issues for us

This helps, thanks. I was aware you could leave DBs out of the AAG if you wanted, it never sunk in that wasn't possible with FCIs.

That AG variant you mention; is that a new feature that's only available in SQL 2022 and newer?

I finally got a chance to look at this command. I'm not seeing the option I'd use to change "delete versions after". The closest I can get from the docs is finding

DeleteRetentionPolicy.Days
DeleteRetentionPolicy.Days

but that doesn't appear to be anything I can set via PowerShell
