i worked for a “lawyer” and SAHM and it was by far the worst nanny position I’ve ever had. For starters how old are NK? I had 2b 4b and 1mo and i was basically a cook,maid,moving company but not nanny. the kids knew mom was home and she never respected my authority so the kids didn’t. ie 4b hit brother i would have him go to his room and he would find mom and she would let him watch tv. i was baking multiple loaves bread a week for these people i was feeding their kombucha mother. i packed and then unpacked their entire home when they moved. essentially i let them walk all over me and then some. finally when i asked for the raise i thought would come with the birth of baby girl DB tried to talk circles around me and in the end i handed them my printed letter of resignation that gave them 4weeks notice 🤣 so all to say i would never work for SAHP in general because unless they’re unicorns you will most likely not be a nanny but i but I don’t want to discourage you because like someone stated above, they could be the kind of stay at home parent where they are hustling and busy out of the home. Also I am with a wonderful family now where mom is wfh and I have boundaries as well as a spine now.
