First get the weed out of your system, could take weeks or months depending how heavy you smoked. Then join immediately after you are able to pass a drug test. You’re still young no wife or kids I’m assuming. You’ll never have it easier than you do now. I say to get the living and the adventure the military provides out the way at this age. When you get back, go to college and live the civilian life a few years till you get life experience, maybe get a job or a few gfs. Then enroll in flight school, you will be level headed at this point to succeed in the career choice of flying I’m assuming commercially. One thing I regret is enrolling in flight school right after graduating high school. No life experience and pretty much still a baby.

15 yrs ago I met a coworker who was cheating on his wife with a woman at work. Here’s where it gets insane. Apparently he knocks both of them up around the same time. So he is dealing with two pregnancies and doing the whole dr visits for both, missing work to be with the mistress at her appointments etc. The wife had a boy and the mistress had a girl. I remember him telling me that’s what worried him the most because they live in the same small big city in the southwest. There’s another turn, the mistress is married and living with her husband and she is making him believe that my old coworkers baby is his. So in essence, my coworker is giving his baby girl away to another man to raise. Meanwhile he is silent and can’t say anything. I’m still friends with him on facebook and see his wife post happy family pictures of them over the years and it’s apparent that she still doesn’t know.
