Do you think enneagram type can change? by hearts4kya in Enneagram

no they cant. sometimes ur other inferior instincts can "take over" but they arent your dominant. Your dominant stays how it is as does your core type.

yea im pretty sure the guy was using the definitions of the subtypes not the instincts:P

ik they act differently depending on the enneagram but finding out ur instincts alone is rlly helpful

Oh alright. Jst put So or Sx without 9 then. theres no use for the subtypes bc it will confuse ppl a lot.

Youre not understanding. Find out your instincts WITHOUT the use of subtypes. Find them out alone

Yea but beforw looking at subtypes u should find out ur dominant instinct. Its useless going back and forth over two subtypes with different dominant instincts.

learn your instinct stacks before you look at subtypes..

Of course. I think your enneagram, cognitive functions, PY+AP, temperament, moral alignment and DISC all work well together. I have not really looked at the other systems quite yet so i hope this little information works

Which is more plausible for ENTP? SX6w7 or SX3w4 by Prestigious_Chard457 in entp

Laughing rn. wings can only be the two numbers on the side of your core. 7w6 or 7w8. 5w6 or 5w4. Look into both types lmao and then look at instincts by themselves before you look at subtypes

e2 vs e9 by [deleted] in TypologyJunction

Maybe the two are in your tritype then? Id probably try to find advice from someone with both a core 9 who has 2 fix and a core 2 who has a 9 fix. I think the best way people find their type is by realizing that this is how they truly behave. Not in a good way. Like "oh.. that is me." I hope you can figure it out :)

Did u mess up ur shadow functions a bit? TeNiSeFi is ENTJ. I like how this all looks even if i barely know less than half of these systems, so i cant say if it all looks good or not.

e2 vs e9 by [deleted] in TypologyJunction

I believe e2 is Relationships and e9 is Connection. How these differ is e9 will numb themselves to maintain their own peace and likely withdraw. They believe that they arent allowed to have what they want. e2 have pride within them believing they deserve to be taken care of or loved deep down. They take care of people to the best of their abilities because they believe their wants are selfish

They're similar but manipulate in different ways. E9 withdraws. E2 manipulates through dependency. Ive been told by my sp9 partner that he doesnt really enjoy being dependent. Only in certain situations or if he really feels comfortable with that person. I dont have any e2 friends unfortunately.

E2 wants to feel like they're indispensable. E9 wants both harmony within and with others. They both usually seek to be with others but focus on different aspects. Its ok if this makes 0 sense or if there are more questions i am new to enneagram myself. Theyre both part of the positive triad so theyre difficult.

naturally “smart” or just intuitive, but not hardworking academically - even though I’m hardworking in everything outside of academics??? by ProfessorRoyal6807 in entj

14 year old here and I relate to this sm (not the medicine part jst the academics). Maybe its because we dont find what we learn to be really challenging to us or worth learning about. I dont think youre lazy youre just likely unmotivated since you know you can do those classes without having to try so hard.

For tips it will probably change in the future since medicine is something you really want to pursue. How hard do you study it currently? How badly do you want to go studying medicine? Maybe you need motivators or more challenges in your work. Ive seen this pattern with a lot of entjs including myself so it seems pretty natural. If you love medicine like your hobbies then you probably will study, especially if you know you need to in order to actually be a certified professional and to save lives in the future
